Hello dear readers! Back to continuing DAKSHIKA. Thank you for being supportive all this while. Everything is well settled in my family now, no issues and hence I can write without any more problems.

Good news- DAKSHIKA switched to daily updates other than Saturdays & Sundays!!

HER POV

"Does my naked body affect you?" He asked.

He was trying to look cute but I couldn't help but stare at his dumbness. Only a few days ago I explained to him how important this chain is to me and look at him now. He was beaming for me to oversee his stupidity.

Suddenly shamelessly my stomach growled and I facepalmed mentally. He looked at me and I wish I could disappear right now.

"You're hungry?" He caressed my stomach.

"I didn't have food today," I said, biting my lower lip.

"Of Course. you were busy getting drunk over milk." He said while sitting up.

"I was not aware of bhaang. It was Gunita and Mukesh's idea." I sat up too trying to defend.

He gave me a look staring into my eyes.

"I guess so!" I whispered.

He turned my back to him, pushed my hair to the front and tightened the strings of my blouse. Getting down from the bed he picked a white shirt from the almirah and buttoned it up.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Not me but we are" he said and I got down while correcting my saree.

"But where?" I further asked.

"You're hungry, let's go down and eat," he replied.

It was late at night and everyone must have slept, we would have to sneak into the kitchen I realised. I smiled and nodded since I was very hungry. Suddenly I recalled something.

"Suniye, Sunaina bhi hamare saath hi thi. Woh apne kamre me hai kya?" I was worried.

(Listen Sunaina was also almgwith me. Is she in her room?)

"Hmm, Tejas took her with him. She was unconscious too." He answered by coming closer to me and held my palm in his.

"Let's go," he said and I followed him downstairs.

We entered the kitchen and found nothing on the table. I opened the fridge and found some cold food lying around. I looked at him in confusion and then took out rajma, roti (chapati) and rice. I quickly heated the rajma, while he served rice and roti for us. After plating everything I held the plates and looked at him.

"Let's go to the dining table," I said.

"No, someone might wake up, let's just eat here," he insisted.

He walked around a little and found a rug. Placing it beside the door he sat down. He looked at me and patted next to him. I smiled and walked up to him. Sitting down we started eating. I tore a bite first and forwarded it to him. He looked at me dazed.

"Bhook to aapko lagi thi," he said.

(But you were hungry)

"Apne bhi to kuch nahi khaya shaam se," I said and he smiled a little, taking the bite into his mouth.

(You also haven't eaten anything since evening)

He looked at me warmly. I knew exactly what he was thinking, a smile appeared on my face too recalling that day.
