HIS POV

My life couldn't be more hectic than it is these days, moreover, today I was travelling to my friend Veer Ahlawat's haveli for his sister's wedding. Not only that but I had received information that in Somgarh, there was going to be a small gathering of labour unions from different mines and firms of Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Ajmer and others, who were planning to attack a few factories under the orders of some MLA.

I had learned that my factory's union leader might also be present. I had to monitor what were they up to happen, as I couldn't let it slide and keep the Rathore Family's and Company's name and diligence at stake.

Veer Singh Ahlawat, was a proprietor, a rich property owner. His father was a landholder in the village later on through business expansion he acquired land both in the village and city. And so there were going to be many landowners, politicians and businessmen in this wedding. Veer had agreed to my request and offered to help me.

After reaching the destination, I went straight to meet him as I couldn't wait a minute. I found Veer in the haveli's hallway talking to someone over the phone. On approaching him, seeing me he smiled and later on cut the call.

"Congratulations on Lakshmi's wedding," I said happily hugging him.

"Thank you so much, Daksh. You're dressed differently," He said looking at my average shirt and jeans.

"Yeah, I had to, can't let people know about my identity. I need to gather information without being a highlight." I said and he nodded.

A man in his twenties approached us and Veer said.

"He is Tarun he will help you with with some information of whatever happens and whosoever comes in here."

"Thank you, Veer. It means a lot." I said

"No need. What are friends for?" He said and we talked a little later on left from there.

I shook hands with Tarun and we discussed a few things about our task at hand. We headed to my room and he gave me some crucial information that Durgadas Rao, a rich landowner of Raodhargarh was also to be present here who came on behalf of his brother MLA Gautam Rao, who might initiate the protest, we discussed for about 3-4 of hours in my room and later Tarun left and I took a nap since I was tired from travelling.

Afterwards, in the evening I woke up hungrily and came out of the room. Strolling a little I headed towards the verandah and suddenly bumped into a lady coming from a corner. I immediately apologised and looked at her, she was slightly older. I bent down to help her and started picking up the items.

Unexpectedly heard a worried, beautiful, melodious female voice. Her voice felt like velvet against the skin. My heart just raced a horse hearing her. I could not ever express what I felt for that voice, what magic that girl did in my heart in just a few milliseconds.

"Dadisa aap theek hai?" she asked worriedly.

And I looked at her captivating face. She was looking gorgeous in red. Beautiful would be an understatement. Her worried lovely face, her black eyes with thick eyelashes, her flawless pink cheeks and those rosy pink glossy lips. She did not look like any star but she became a star in my life. At this moment all I could think was of me and her at this place, this world. Nothing else.

Is God still making people this beautiful?

"Haan beta" The lady answered while nodding.
