(That night, Jungkook returned home. He headed upstairs to his room, where he quickly changed into more comfortable clothes. Seeking a moment of peace, he stepped out onto the balcony. The cool night air greeted him, and he took a deep breath, trying to clear his mind. He looked up at the sky, the stars twinkling like tiny beacons in the darkness)
Jungkook: Nehal, I had a really tough day today and yesterday. I wish you were here to talk to. You know Chaehyun... she crossed the line. She did something so terrible, and it’s been haunting me all day."
(He paused, taking another deep breath, as if trying to draw strength from the stars above and the roses below)
Jungkook: "I don't understand why people do such things. Her actions were so deceitful, so hurtful. I felt so powerless. But thinking about you, it gives me some strength. You always know how to handle things with grace and wisdom. I miss you, Nehal. I miss your advice, your laughter, the way you made everything seem manageable. Talking to you always makes things better."
(He opened his eyes, gazing at the stars as if hoping they could carry his words to her)
Jungkook: "I hope you're doing well, up there. I hope you're happy. And I hope you know that I'm trying my best here. I'll get through this, somehow, but I don't understand why she did that to me, like I didn't know her then how she says that she was waiting for me and blah blah. Anyways, I don't care."
(With a final glance at the star filled sky and the resilient roses, he turned back towards his room)
*NEXT MORNING*
(The next morning, Nehal woke up to the gentle light of the sun streaming through her bedroom window. It was her day off from university, and she felt a sense of calm knowing she had a break from her hectic schedule. She reached for the small bell on her nightstand and pressed it to call for Burak. A few moments later, Burak appeared at her door, a warm smile on his face)
Burak: "Good morning, Nehal."
(Nehal smiled back)
Nehal: "Good morning and Assalamualaikum, Oppa."
(Moving to her bedside. With practice ease, he gently helped her sit up and then carefully lifted her into the wheelchair. Once she was comfortably seated, Burak adjusted the footrests)
Burak: "There you go. How are you feeling today?"
Nehal: "Much better, thanks. It's nice to have a day off. What about you? Any plans?"
(Burak shrugged, giving her a playful grin)
Burak: "Well, I thought I'd spend the day with my favorite sister. Maybe we can do something fun together."
(Nehal laughed, feeling a warmth spread through her chest)
Nehal: "That sounds perfect. What do you have in mind?"
Burak: "How about we start with a nice breakfast? I've been experimenting with some new recipes."
(Burak suggested, his eyes twinkling with excitement)
Nehal: "That sounds great. You go first I'll be back after getting fresh."
( Burak nodded and left, when Nehal headed to the bathroom. After getting ready, She wheeled herself out of the bathroom and headed to the dining table where Burak was already setting up breakfast. The aroma of freshly made pancakes and coffee filled the air, making her smile)
Nehal: "Smells amazing."
Burak: "Thanks! I hope it tastes just as good."
(Burak replied, pulling out a chair for himself. They sat down and enjoyed their breakfast, chatting and laughing about various things. Burak shared some funny stories from his work, and Nehal talked about some interesting topics she had studied recently. As they finished their meal, Nehal's phone rang. She picked it up and saw that it was Haneul calling)
