(As days passed, Mr. Jeon and Yoona's parents busied themselves with wedding preparations, while Jungkook seemed increasingly detached. He spent most of his days outside and returned home late at night, appearing disinterested in the impending wedding. Yoona noticed his lack of enthusiasm but understood the weight of his emotions. She made efforts to cheer him up, though it was clear that he was struggling internally. Meanwhile, Nehal focused on her rehabilitation and studies, dedicating most of her time to her recovery. Hanuel, on the other hand, worked on building a good relationship with Emir)
*ON THE WEDDING DAY*
(On the morning of the wedding day, Jungkook stood alone on the balcony. His gaze fell upon the roses in the garden below, but his thoughts were elsewhere, consumed by a deep turmoil within)
Jungkook: "How can I do this? How can I make someone my life partner whom I don't love? How can I live my life like this? I always imagined my wedding day would be filled with joy and love. But here I am, feeling lost. How did I end up here, about to marry someone I don't love? Is this what I'm supposed to do, follow tradition and expectations?"
(He clenched his fists, frustration and confusion knotting in his chest. Memories of happier times with Nehal flashed through his mind, intensifying his inner conflict)
Jungkook: "I can't ignore how I feel. I thought I could bury these emotions, but they're stronger than ever. Yoona deserves someone who can give her the love she deserves, not someone who's pretending."
(Standing on the balcony, Jungkook gazed up at the sky, his heart heavy with unanswered questions)
Jungkook: "Why is this happening to me? Why did Nehal have to leave me like this, leaving me to face all of this?"
(He felt a deep ache in his chest, longing for understanding and solace from a higher power)
Jungkook: "Nehal's Allah, what do I do now? How do I navigate this path?"
(Jungkook stood in a daze as Mr. Jeon entered, breaking the silence with practical instructions)
Mr Jeon: "You should go to the salon, get your hair cut and be ready by 7 pm and drop yoona to the salon too."
(He nodded wordlessly, his mind still grappling with the whirlwind of emotions)
Mr Jeon: "I know this is difficult for you, but you have to do this."
Jungkook: " I don't have any other choice."
(As Mr. Jeon left, Jungkook grabbed his car keys in a hurry, calling out for Yoona to join him. She hurriedly joined him in the car, and they drove off in tense silence, the weight of the impending day palpable in the air. After a while, Yoona attempted to break the heavy silence between them)
Yoona: "Jungkook, I know this isn't easy for you. I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what."
(As they arrived at the salon, Yoona smiled at Jungkook, hoping to ease the tension between them. However, he remained silent, his gaze fixed ahead as he drove away once Yoona got out of the car)
(As night fell, Jungkook hurriedly prepared himself while Mr. Jeon and Yoona's parents readied themselves to leave for the wedding venue. Sensing Jungkook's unease, Mr. Jeon approached him with a reassuring tone)
Mr Jeon: "Jungkook, we're almost ready to go."
(Mr. Jeon began, but before he could say more, Jungkook interrupted, his voice urgent yet determined)
Jungkook: "Dad, I need to go somewhere urgently."
(He stated firmly, his eyes reflecting a mix of resolve and turmoil. Yoona's parents exchanged concerned glances as they watched Jungkook leave. Mr. Jeon, ever understanding, reassured them with a calm demeanor)
