"I think it's time for me to start working again." Ochako sighed

"What did you say?" surely Deku had misheard her
"I want to start doing hero work again." Ochako murmured, "I think I'm ready."

Deku glared at her, "You're joking, right?"

"No. I-"

"You want to start doing hero work, pregnant with twins? These twins?"
"Yeah. Lots of heroes work while they're pregnant. I was going to talk to my friends about it when we see them tomorrow."

Deku looked at her "Ochako. You could not be a bigger target with villains right now!"

"I know, but I need to work and-"

"Ochako do you really think you are going to be successful as a hero now? Do you think civilians trust you right now? I think it's time to start looking for a new job."

"Why? Because you don't like heroes? I'm also having the number one hero's baby!"

"Yeah. You are! So you need to stay in and let us protect you, okay? I won't risk losing any of you."

Ochako looked at him sadly, she really had thrown her career away, hadn't she? He wrapped his arms around her and sighed, kissing the top of her head.

"I love you Uraraka. I'm really sorry." He felt her crying against his shoulder, he just held her, sighing as he held her in his arms.

"I love you and those babies more than anything."
"I love you too Dekukun." She murmured

"You're not going back to work. I will lock you in my basement before I see you out there risking my child's life."

Ochako frowned, it had been a long time since he threatened her, she tensed up, "I forgot."

"You forgot what?"
"Who I was dealing with."
"who are you dealing with?" Deku sighed

"A monster."
Deku felt his heart break, "I-I just-" He shook his head "I can't lose you three." He whimpered "I-I can't have you out there where I can't keep you safe."

"So you'd lock me up?"
"N-no. I-I maybe." He looked at his feet, "I just-I'm scared Ocha I haven't ever been in a situation like this and I have no idea how to handle it." He frowned

Ochako looked at him sadly, she could see that he was trying, she kissed his cheek "I'll be careful, okay? I promise."
"I don't want you to leave this house." He sighed, "I have been updating our security for the past couple of weeks, but it doesn't do much good if you leave the house."

"But-"
"No. You are pregnant by one of the most hated men in Japan. You need to stay
here. You need to be careful."

"I am being careful, but I want to-"
"Please. We're going to see your friends later today, we will go to all of your doctor's appointments I'll even take you to see Kacchan if you want. Okay? I'm not isolating you from the world, just the parts of it that want to hurt you." He kissed her gently, smiling as she kissed him back, holding her in his arms. She thought he was a monster, but all he was doing was trying to keep her safe. Keep his children safe. If Katsuki told her to stay inside she would listen without question. He didn't know what to do. She didn't trust him. She probably never would. He kissed her gently and held her in his arms. His heart was broken, but he knew that all of her fears were well justified.

"What can I do to make you trust me?" He murmured

"What do you mean?"

"I mean. You still look at me like I'm going to tie you to an embalming table and cut your guts out."
"You have threatened to do that before Deku. It's a very specific thing for you to say twice."
