Shakti is dancing happily until the spatula hits head. He screamed and turned back only to find his mother glaring him with a murderous look. He gulped at her nervously and searched for the TV remote to reduce the volume.
His father cursed Shakti in his mind for provoking his wife's anger. He silently pulled up the newspaper to cover his face and mentally prayed to escape from her.

She slapped her forehead and pulled the newspaper and her husband gulped at her.

He said sternly and Shakti too nodded like a obedient kid.

When Chitra was about to tell something but a whistle sound from the kitchen interrupted their conversation. She rushed to the kitchen and the father and son let out a breathe they were holding for a long time.
Shakti plopped beside his father and caressed his head.

Aakash nodded and went upstairs.

Aakash refreshed himself and changed into comfortable clothes. He came to the dining table and settled there. Chitra started serving him dinner and he notices her dull face.
Aakash: Amma yen oru maadhiri erukka? Yennachi?
Chitra: Pschhh en kavala enakku (she sulked)
Aakash: Yenna kavala?(He asks munching the dosa)
Shakti: Adhu onnum illa da anna innaikki unna andha ponnu reject pannittangalla andha kavala
Shakti said casually and Aakash too nodded. This is not new to him.
Chitra: Yenna da onnumey solla maattra?
