Part 2 of a 3-part mini-series
"Hey, Binnie I need you to pick up Keagan from school please" You speak out hoping he can hear you as you are connected to the Bluetooth in your car.
"I will get him don't worry! Do you need to call the school?" You sign as you look at the sea of cars around you in standstill traffic.
"Yes, I will call them now. I am in horrible traffic so I'll call you after I call the school." You dig in your purse for the card with Keagan school's phone number on it and hang up on Changbin.
2 hours later you finally make it home more exhausted than usual. You walk into a clean quiet house causing you to panic for a split second.
"Hello," You call out into the house cautiously.
"We are in here baby" Changbins voice rang in your ears. You walk into the living room where Keagan is passed out on the couch with Chan, Seungmin, and Jeongin.
"What happened here" You giggle walking over to Changbin.
"The boys wanted to come to hang out with the coolest 7-year-old ever while I cleaned up. Keagan did his homework and showered before we sat down and watched a movie." You look at the screen still playing the movie they were watching.
"You look good as a dad" You giggle kissing his cheek. He pouts a little when you push yourself off of him.
"When are you going to let me kiss you for real?" He asked following you into the bedroom.
"Well... I-" Stunned that is what you were.
"I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable. No rush!" He looked down at his watch and sighed in defeat while rubbing the back of his neck.
"You okay?" You asked looking at the time on the stove.
"Yeah, it's just harder to leave each time, But let me get the others up and put Keagan in his bed so you can get ready for bed." You sighed since it was also getting hard for you to watch him leave but you didn't know if you were ready for him to be around 24/7.
The next day you got a call from the school requesting a meeting. You texted Changbin about it and he told you he would meet you there.
"What happened," You asked when you saw Keagan sitting in the office with a black eye. Changbin appeared behind you just as worried.
"Are you Keagans parents?" The lady behind the desk asked. She seemed new so she didn't recognize you.
"Yes, we are what happened to our son?" Changbin steps in front of you and Keagan. She guided you into the principal's office where there was another kid that was In Keagan's class and his parents.
"Well, Keagan had been having some issues with this peer next to you since his father came to pick him up the other day. He saw Mr. Seo pick him up yesterday as well and when they got to recess Keagan got punched in the face." You inhale feeling awful that you had no idea this was happening to him.
"Is there a reason so we can fix it?" Changbin spoke up looking at the parents.
"There is no way Keagans dad is the same person on my sister's wall." The kid spat with venom until his dad put his hand on his shoulder.
"We are very sorry our kid hurt yours. It will not happen again and we will handle it." Changbin stood up and shook their hand something you couldn't bring yourself to do.
After the meeting, Changbin decided to take you to his place so Keagan could hang with his uncles and they could cheer him up.
"Changbin" You called him over as you watched the other 7 baby Keagan and made him laugh.
"Thank you" You whispered leaning your head on his chest.
"For what?" He questioned.
"For handling that so well. If I was alone or with anyone else I don't think I would have handled it properly but you stepped up and handled the situation tastefully and I am glad you did." Changbin wraps his arms around you and chuckles.
"I am your support in situations like that so it's really no big deal. I knew your mother instincts would have caused you to shred those two into small little nano shreds." You laughed playfully hitting his chest.
You pulled away and looked up at him getting this strong urge to kiss him.
"Changbin please kiss me" Your words caught him off guard for a few seconds but after those few seconds he leaned down and kissed you softly and slowly. Almost like he was scared you would crumble if he kissed you too hard.
