- CHANGBIN

Part 3, The final part of a 3-part mini-series

"Changbin you had no right to make a decision like that he is only 7" You huff pinching the bridge of your nose trying to calm the anger bubbling inside you.

"You forget he is my son too and I have every right to make a decision like that" He replied in a shaky tone.

"You are his father now but you weren't 7 years ago." You spat out unintentionally. His eyes glazed over and he had given up on this argument. You had hurt him pretty badly with that statement.

"I was his father... you just kept him from me... I am not going to argue over this... I can see where I stand very well. I am sorry I didn't tell you and signed the paper anyway. I won't do it again" Your heart swelled at the crack in his voice as he tried not to cry.

"Changbin..." You whisper trying to reach out and turn him to look at you.

"I think we both need to cool off before we speak to each other. We both don't want to say things to hurt each other in the presence of anger. I will go get us food and we can talk when I get back." You exhale in small relief.

"You are coming back though right?" He looked back at the worried look on your face and turned to kiss your forehead.

"I have waited 7 years to be with you. One small argument is not gonna chase me away. We can talk when we are both calmer and Keagan is in bed." You nod gripping his arm until he is too far and you have to let him leave the room.

"Mom" Keagan called out walking into your room.

"Yes baby," You asked patting the bed so he could come to sit next to you.

"Are you and Dad fighting because of me?" You chuckled and shook your head.

"No baby why would you think that?" He turned to you and handed the flyer to you.

"I really wanted to try out for the baseball team.

Uncle MongMong has been teaching me how to play and it's really fun. Dad said he needed to talk to you first but I begged him and he signed the papers. I am sorry if I got Dad in trouble." Now knowing the whole story you felt awful starting that argument with Changbin.

"It will be okay but can you please tell me next time? Your dad is ready to get in trouble for you all the time but if it's not necessary I can reason with both of you. I taught you better communication than this." Keagan buries his head in your neck squeezing you in a tight hug.

"I am sorry Mom" You were about to speak when you heard the front door open.

"I don't think you owe me an apology I think you owe your dad one." He jumped off the bed and you followed closely watching him jump into Changbins arms and hug him tightly. Changbins eyes found yours as he smiled hugging Keagan back.

After dinner, you and Changbin sat in the living room before he had to go back home.

"I am sorry I said you weren't his father 7 years ago." Changbin turned his phone off and wrapped his arm around you.

"You never told me why you just... left and didn't tell me anything." This conversation was heavily delayed and You knew better than anyone that he needed this more than you did.

"We were fighting every day when I found out I was pregnant with Keagan. I didn't believe it until the 2nd-5th test at Yeonjun's Place. Wooyoung cried with me as I begged them not to tell you anything. My mind always thought that we weren't really meant to be and that you would get sick of me eventually. When I told your manager about it he told me it was best if I secretly and quietly disappeared and I agreed. You are meant to be a star and a child that young would have ruined your chances of living your dream." His hand in yours tightened when he saw the first tear fall.

"It wasn't easy was it?" You shook your head and leaned on his shoulder.

"No none of it. From birth to the single mom things it was all tough... But your smile on stage made things a bit easier. I thought you had already forgotten all about me... Until Seungmin told me everything that was said at the ice cream shop 6 months ago." You sunk deeper into his body feeling his warmth and hearing his heartbeat.

"I could never forget about you... I thought about you every day. Toward the acceptance stage, I just hoped you were happy and safe." His voice was low as he stared down at you.

"I am was happy but now I feel complete." His hand rubbed shapes into your back soothing the nerves that your body was exhuming.

The moment was cut short when Changbin's phone rang and he reached over to grab it. Before he could answer you took his hand and placed the phone back on the table. He watched you crawl onto his lap and straddle him.

"Stay the night?" You whispered connecting your forehead with his. His hands slightly trembled when they reached your waist.

"That wouldn't be a good idea" He replied back.

"Why?" You asked slowly pulling away from his forehead.

"My self-control can only take a few hits at a time and I can't promise I won't try to start something." You smirked rubbing your hand up and down his chest.

"You don't need to worry about starting anything... I will start it myself." You leaned in and kissed him softly before pressing more into his body and deepening the kiss.

"Babe... Keagan" He said inhaling sharply trying to gain control of himself again.

"We just have to be quiet and lock the door." His bottom lip was now between his teeth while he smirked at you.

"We always ended arguments like this back then as well." Changbin chuckled hooking his arms on your thighs so he could pick you up while standing up.

"Well... stop being so hot when you are mad." You laughed wrapping your arms around his neck while he walked into the room.

"I don't think I will if this is how it will end" He locked the door before laying you down on the bed and hovering over you.

"I never stopped loving you" You whispered.

"I will never stop loving you" He stated.
