"We bet you can't make her fall in love with you and say I love you first."

The stupidest thing I had done was make that bet. I wish I could take it back but I already paid the fees. I told them that I lost the bet and there was no reason to continue with it. I never told them why though. Even though (y/n) did fall first... I fell harder... she was amazing how could someone not fall in love with her? I didn't want anyone to know though. Not yet I wanted everything to calm down before we started telling people.
I was currently hanging out with a group of friends when. I got a text from (y/n). I couldn't believe my eyes and needed to do some major damage control. "You okay innie?" Hyunjin asked beside me. "I need to go! See you later."

-AFTER THE TEXT-
"Babe open the door. Open the door, please. We need to talk. Babe! (Y/n)" I banged on her door nonstop but there was no answer. I knew she was In there but she was ignoring me.
"I don't want to talk to you Jeongin I don't even want to see you." I could tell she was crying. The rasp in her voice said it all. I lean my forehead against the door squeezing my eyes shut and sighing loudly.
"You don't have to talk and you don't have to look at me just listen, please... I... yes the bet was real but I told them I lost months ago. I paid the fees took the punishment and cut ties with all of them. They didn't know the reason why and still don't." The door opens allowing me to walk in and shut the door behind me.
"Why did you do that?" She asks from behind me. I went to turn around and look at her but she stopped me putting her hand on my back to stop me.
"I fell... I fell hard. I'm sorry you had to find out this way. But I promise my feelings have been real this entire time. Remember when I came over with a bloody lip and you asked me what happened? Besides the fee I had to pay the punishment was being punched in the face." Her arms wrap around from behind me and she presses her cheek into my back.
"Promise me this is the last secret you keep from me."
"I promise" I stick out my pinky and she chuckles.
