"Thank you for helping me clean" Minho kissed your forehead followed by a small smile.
"No problem at all." You smiled back at him and continued putting away some books.
"I'm going to get us drinks and a snack I'll be right back!" You nod as he walks away. In one of the books you were putting away a photo fell out you picked it up off the floor and noticed Minho with another person in the pic. You assumed it was his ex and opened the book it fell out of. On the first page, you read what he had written.
'One-sided love hurts and I hope I can find love again. She finally left me after I fought hard for her to stay. I'll never love someone the same way I loved her. I hope she's well.' You were in disbelief as you flipped a couple of pages in.
'I went on a couple of dates with (y/n). We made it official last night and I think I am happy. They are amazing and super good-looking. I smiled and laughed with them it was great but they were not the person my heart longed for. I hope (y/n) can help me forget about her but it's too soon to tell.' You close the book and put it on the shelf with tears in your eyes. You grabbed your things and left without notifying Minho.

-AFTER THE TEXT-
"Where did you go" the text flashed across your screen as you swiped it away not wanting to talk to him. You were hurt and rightfully so.
A few hours passed and the banging on your door had been continuously going for 10 minutes now. You texted him wanting to break up but he wanted to talk about it. You wanted nothing to do with him but once it all stopped and you could hear the quiet sniffling your heart broke and you opened the door.
He immediately pulled you into his arms sobbing into your neck.
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry I made you feel like that but I promise. You are not my second choice and I will never regret you. It took me by surprise but I fell and hard for you." Your eyes teared up as you silently listened to him.
"I love you so much that I'm willing to walk away so you are happy." You whisper rubbing up and down his back trying to soothe him.
"Please don't! I am so happy because I love you. I fell in love with you naturally. Never force my feelings and this is genuine and pure love. I didn't plan on falling I just did." You squeeze him walking back into the apartment and closing the door behind him.
