Aliens! I'm right here!

Maira's POV

"Maira!!! Your adorable bitbeast is backkk!!!" I heard as I felt a strong force pushing me all of a sudden.

"Ouch- Stranzy, why are you here?" I said hardly regaining my balance as he came hugging me with much force while shouting that.

"You know, Kai is bad! Really bad! But, not that bad. He totally left your mother speechless with his argument! Not like he could do it without me, but we finally convinced your arrogant mother to let you meet them!!"

He did?

"Arrogant?" I turned around startled to see mother standing there.

"Umm mother, he was just-" I tried to give her some excuse that I myself hadn't thought of, but she cut me off by raising her hand as a gesture to stop and I quietened.

"You are here already? And what were you saying about me being arrogant? I'm listening." She said folding her arms to her chest demandingly.

"Ofcourse I'm here! I'm faster than you. And you are arrogant! I can repeat it as many times as you want. You snatched my precious weilder from me!!" He yelled offended.

"If I can permit you to be around her, I can refuse too." She told him sternly and immediately turned to me with a concerned look, "Are you alright? You weren't in the room, right?" She asked glancing past me at my now darkened room.

"I'm fine. I just arrived here just now only." I replied "But did you really..." I trailed off as I glanced at Stranzy and she nodded.

"Ofcourse she did! She's the reason of you being in danger afterall and this lady can't even save you from it, I can!" He interfered. 

At this point, I can't understand if he wants to stay with me or not.

"Stranzer." I gave him a stern look and he gave her an apologetic nod.

"Try not to get in any trouble though." She told me and I smiled with a nod.

"And you, try not to bother my daughter, or I'll have to shut you out." She threatened him, making him burn brighter in offense.

"You trouble her, I don't. And see, because of you, I couldn't even check on her just now. You barged into our moment!" He flapped his wings furiously while glaring at her and approached me.

"MAIRA! ARE YOU OKAY? YOU DIDN'T GET BURN, RIGHT? DID YOUR MOTHER TROUBLE YOU? HAVE YOU BEEN EATING WELL? DID YOU SLEEP PROPERLY?" He instantly turned panicked and buried me in the heap of questions in a concerned manner.

I looked at mother from the corner of my eyes to see her smiling at us before she left from there saying, "I'll have a room ready for you, go there and have rest."

I took Stranzer in my hand and now he was sitting on it quietly dumbfounded. I tapped on his beak with my finger and said softly, "I'm fine now, so can you try your best not to get kicked out of here by mother?"

"I'll try." He replied meekly.

"Thanks." I said before taking him with me to the other room.

The day passed with Stranzy complaining about how much he was bothered by the trio and how they were so rude to him.

Next day, I quickly got ready, excited that I'll get to meet them again today but all the excitement sneaked away unnoticed when I arrived at college and nervousness gripped me.

I don't think it makes much difference if I talk to them. They got Aradia's location anyways, so they'll be going back soon.
