On March 13-15, 2024, a tornado outbreak occurred throughout Midwestern and northeastern United States with the most significant impacts occurring in Indiana and Ohio. More than 2 dozen tornadoes occurred, 8 of them were strong to intense. The NWS offices issued multiple 'Particularly Dangerous Situation' tornado warnings. Strong tornadoes produced major damage in communities of Selma and Winchester, Indiana and Fryburg and Lakeview, Ohio. 1 person died in Winchester and 3 died in Lakeview. Other significant tornadoes caused damage in Kansas, Arkansas and Kentucky.
