As the day turned into evening, the Oberoi mansion transformed into a vision of enchantment. Fairy lights twinkled like stars, white flowers adorned every corner, and off-cream curtains billowed gently in the breeze.

The air was filled with anticipation as everyone busied themselves with preparations for the engagement ceremony. Amidst the hustle and bustle, someone was stealthily making their way towards a secluded part of the mansion, eager to find a moment of privacy.

Atharv walked with determined steps, glancing around to ensure he wasn't seen. Suddenly, a hand grabbed him from an empty corner, pulling him into a dimly lit storeroom. Before he could react, he found himself pinned against the wall by none other than his soon-to-be fiancée, Priyal.

"Piyu?"

Atharv gasped in surprise, his eyes widening as he looked at her.

Priyal, focused on the door to ensure no one had followed them, didn't respond immediately. Atharv took the opportunity to shift their positions, gently but firmly flipping her against the wall. He cupped her chin with his index finger, lifting her face to meet his gaze.

"I'm here, not outside,"

he murmured, his voice soft but intense.
