.....

After dinner, the house was alive with a warmth and liveliness that only family gatherings could bring. Aarush was the star of the evening, his delightful giggles filling the air as he played with his nani and nana, dada and dadi, and chhoti dadi and chhote dadu.

The elders took turns entertaining him, whether it was bouncing him on their knees, playing peek-a-boo, or simply marveling at his joyful antics.

Aarush's laughter, pure and uncontainable, seemed to echo through every corner of the house, a testament to the joy he brought to everyone around him.In the living room, the younger members of the family had gathered, forming a relaxed and cheerful circle.

They sat sprawled across the plush couches and carpets, the air buzzing with chatter and occasional bursts of laughter. Vraj, feeling the day's happiness settle in his chest, took a seat beside Aashvi. He reached for her hand, his fingers intertwining with hers in a gesture of quiet affection. Aashvi smiled softly, leaning her head on his shoulder as they watched their family enjoy each other's company.

The warmth of their bond was evident, and even in the middle of the lively gathering, they found a moment of peace together.Meanwhile, Priyal and Aarav were busy devouring the leftover cake from Aarush's birthday party, their plates piled high with crumbs and frosting. Across the room, Isha and Ekaksh were deeply engrossed in the task of opening Aarush's birthday gifts, their faces lighting up with excitement as they unwrapped each package.

The colorful paper and ribbons lay discarded around them like confetti, adding to the festive atmosphere. It was Aarav who first broke the rhythm of the moment. Pointing dramatically at Isha and Ekaksh, he teased,

"Dekho dekho, kitne bure Bua-chachu hain Aarush ke! Uske bina uske gifts khol rahe hain!"

( Look, look, how bad are Aarush's uncle and aunty ! They are opening his gifts without him! )

His mock outrage earned a round of chuckles from everyone present, and Isha rolled her eyes while Ekaksh, ever the quieter one, shot Aarav a mock glare before returning to the task at hand.

"Arre, gifts dekh rahe hain ki Aarush ko kya pasand aayega!"

( Oh, we're just checking the gifts to see what Aarush will like! )

Isha retorted, holding up a brightly colored toy.

"Aur waise bhi, chhote bache ko kya farak padta hai? Hum toh sirf madad kar rahe hain."

( And anyway, what difference does it make to a little kid? We're just helping out. )

"Haan, haan, madad,"

Aarav said, drawing out the word with exaggerated disbelief.

"Mujhe toh lagta hai tum dono chocolates ya koi funny toys dhoondh rahe ho jo tumhe pasand aa jaye!"

( I think you both are looking for chocolates or some funny toys that you like! )

His comment earned him a cushion thrown in his direction by Isha, which he dodged with a laugh. As the evening wore on, the banter grew more lively. Vraj, now fully relaxed, joined in the teasing.
