Chapter 31
Thus it was decided that Yin Lang would be adopted into the eldest wife's family.
Yin Jingshan and Zhao felt aggrieved, and even though they dared not say anything because of Wei Ruo's presence, their faces turned pale, and they forced themselves to smile but it seemed as if their faces were cramping.
Yin Yong saw this and felt helpless.
Even without the Third Master, he would still have a way to get his son and daughter-in-law to agree to adoption. Apart from anything else, the Yin family still has side branches. If his son refuses to hand over Yin Lang, he can adopt one from the side branch. For his son, it would be better to arrange for Lang'er to be adopted, since he is his bloodline after all.
But those methods are too tedious. It is better to borrow the power of the Third Master. Look, the Third Master just sits here and his son and daughter-in-law become quiet.
Yin Yong looked at his eldest grandson Yin Wen again, and was relieved to see that Yin Wen was still smiling and didn't mind the adoption. He had long given up hope on his second son, and fortunately his eldest grandson was raised properly.
"Okay, take Lang Ge'er back and pack up. I will invite a few elders to come over tomorrow morning to officially register Lang Ge'er's name under your eldest brother's name."
Yin Yong said.
At this point, Yin Jingshan and Zhao had no choice but to accept it, pay their respects and leave.
Yin Hui ordered Jinzhan: "You go over and help."
Yin Jingshan and his wife were both holding their breath, and she was afraid that Yin Lang would be beaten.
Zhao listened and secretly clenched her fists. Yin Jingshan's face turned even paler. He really wanted to go back to the second house and give Yin Lang a good beating. But now that Jinzhan was with them, it was difficult for him to do it.
Who to blame?
The strange niece Yin Hui relied on her status as a rich woman and came home to act like a bully, not taking her uncle seriously.
As he turned around, Yin Jingshan looked at Yin Hui deeply.
A middle-aged man in his forties directed his resentment towards his niece who was only seventeen years old.
Yin Hui was not afraid at all, nor would she waver. If she did nothing, what awaited her was the second family killing her grandfather and ruining her ancestors' foundation.
"Grandfather, I'm going to visit the homes of some of the clan elders first. Everyone is busy hosting banquets lately. I'll see who's free tomorrow." Yin Wen said calmly and politely.
Yin Yong smiled and nodded.
Yin Wen bowed to Wei Ruo again and left with his parents.
Most of the people in the hall were gone, and the atmosphere became relaxed. Yin Yong pinched Xiao Heng's chubby little hand and said to Wei Ruo, "Third Master, adoption is a big deal. Can you and Ah Hui stay here tonight? How about you go back after the banquet tomorrow afternoon?"
Wei Ruo didn't want to stay at the Yin's house to entertain those merchants, so he said, "Ahui can stay. Xiao Heng and I have other plans."
Yin Yong immediately said, "Alright, alright. Third Master has important matters to attend to. So, Ah Hui will take Third Master to your courtyard to rest first, and I will go and tell your eldest cousin about some things."
Yin Hui took her son in and watched her grandfather leave. She then looked at Wei Ruo and said, "Thank you for your help just now."
The matter was done so smoothly, and Wei Ruo deserved the credit.
