MARY couldn't believe of all people, it was Penny who revealed her secret to them. She has always been so hell bent on no one finding out Mary's true identity. Why was she so willing to expose Mary. So many questions lingered in her mind and she didn't know how to react.

"Penny? What are you doing here?" Mary breathes out.

Penny took a step closer. "I'm here to help. I want to help Eleven," she reveals.

Mary narrows her eyes, not buying what she was saying. "You said that she needed to go back to the lab?"

Penny nodded her head with a guilty expression. "Yes, I know. But I realize that you were right. It's more important that we help Eleven rather than take her away." Her eyes trailed behind Eleven who held recognization.

El's face hardened at the sight of Penny with much familiarity. Not trusting the woman in front of her.

Penny disregarding Eleven's reaction smiled gently at the young girl. "Hello, Eleven. It's good to see you again."

Eleven doesn't respond. Eyeing the scientist closely.

"Alright, let's head inside," Chief Hopper insisted. Noticing the rising tension between the girls.

Mary didn't trust Penny's new found intentions. The fact that less than twenty four hours ago she was so adamant about finding Eleven so she could close the gateway, and now she's on their side? What's her end goal of doing a complete 180?

Mary lingered behind the entrance way as the others walked inside the house. Mary grabbed Penny's arm preventing her to go any further. "I don't understand? Why did you tell them about me?" Mary ushered under her breath.

"I never had any intentions on telling them in the first place but apparently Jim and Joyce were doing their own research about the Lab. They found out about Eleven...and you. They both confronted me at the house and I had no choice but to tell them everything. Then I realize that...that you were right. Eleven doesn't belong in that place. No one does and I am so incredibly sorry for never telling you about her. About any of this. I was only trying to protect you. But I need to do what's right."
