MARY somehow knew she was dreaming. At first, it was bits and pieces of what seemed like images that she didn't recall ever seeing in real life. The darkness of it all. It made her feel...odd. Then everything around started to become vividly clear.

Where was she?

She looked at her surroundings to possibly identify where she was. Everything seemed so dark and lifeless. Almost sinister-like. She wouldn't be surprised if this place had never seen the light of day — it seemed like it was always dark.

This place was completely devoid of humanity — this scared her. If nothing was living here, then what could exist in this world?

That's when she heard it. The sound of pleas transpires from a distance and Mary immediately disregards her environment — pushing aside the haunted world and following the voice. The voice sounded young — younger than her. She couldn't tell whether the person was male or female since it came from a distance.

Without replying, Mary's feet took off into a full sprint making sure to dodge the vines that eerily reminded her of long inner intestines that were somehow all connected. She had no idea where she was but all she knew was that this person needed her help... anyone's help.

"No!" Mary's eyes shot open while letting out a sharp gasp. She placed her hand over her chest — it felt as if her heart could jump out right this moment.

The dream... if that's even what she would call it felt so real. It was haunting and realistic, it was almost like looking at flashes of images. This time this dream felt eerie. Almost like something was warning her.

Moments passed by and Mary was slowly yet surely calming down. Her eyes glanced over at the digital clock from across the room that was sitting on her wooden desk. 11:11 am. It was Sunday night and she still had more time to sleep before waking up the next day for school. Her own personal Hell.
