"Ughh," Dewdrop groaned as she fell over on the sofa. "I'm so tired..."
"It's only 5," Willow and Melody trotted over to check on the Vaporeon. "We're going out to eat later."
"I kinda don't want to anymore...like, I know I was really hype about it, but now I just want to close my eyes and sleep for some reason." Dewdrop closed her eyes.
Melody groaned. "Wanna play another match of UNO to get your energy back up? I won't troll you this time, I promise!"
"Mel, actually, just let me sleep for a while." the Vaporeon rolled over.
"Go to your room then, you have your own bed." Melody narrowed her eyes.
Dewdrop didn't bother getting up from the couch. "You sound like my mom when she gets mad at me. She does get more mad at Volt than me though."
"I wanna watch a show!" Cinnamon hopped up from her seat and dashed over, nearly crashing straight into Melody.
"You heard her, get off the sofa." Melody's expression darkened.
Dewdrop rolled over and pouted before getting up. "Geez, okay."
Cinnamon was silent while watching the Vaporeon drag herself upstairs, and carefully sat down on the couch after picking up the remote.
"Willow, stay with Cinna for a bit. I need to talk to Dew about something."
"Because she's tired and you don't want her to be?" the Leafeon inquired straightforwardly.
Melody shrugged. "She's not usually like this, so I think something might be wrong."
Willow put a paw on Cinnamon's head and rubbed it gently. "Or maybe she just needs some rest. Didn't sleep well or something."
"She never sleeps well! She always stays up doing something," the Sylveon pointed out. "Yet she's always energetic every hour of the day."
The Leafeon sighed. "Okay, go talk to her then. It's not like I'm going to force you not to."
"Mkay." Melody nodded and went upstairs, leaving Willow with Cinnamon on the sofa.
"Is Mel okay?" the Eevee turned to look at Willow.
Willow hesitated with her answer. "Yeah, she's just worried for Dew."
Cinnamon asked another question after turning on the TV with the remote in her paw. "What happened?"
The Leafeon shook her head. "I'm not too sure. Wanna ask them later?"
"Ooh, sure!" Cinnamon changed channels to a TV show.
Willow smiled at the Eevee enjoying the episode playing on the screen and sighed to herself.
"Whoa, this is much more magnificent than I have ever imagined!" Lavender exclaimed, looking at her new surroundings.
"Mhm! This is just the streets," Snowbelle smiled. "It's honestly much more bustling in the evenings. I've been here once at 9, and there were pretty lights everywhere."
"It's already so active here and it's only the afternoon!?" the Espeon's excitement also glowed in her eyes, but Snowbelle could never look at those light rubies the same way ever again.
Adrenaline is supposed to help you in danger, not destroy it right after.
"Yeah..." the Glaceon nodded. "It really is. Are we buying the stuff first or withdrawing your money?"
"How about buying the things and get it over with?" Lavender had a bright smile. "Can you show me where the shops are?"
The 'Polluted' encounter that she had when she was younger would have destroyed her entire future if she never met me, Willow and all of the others with Moonshade and Melody.
"Oh, yeah, sure. I think I remember where they are, roughly though." Snowbelle hung her head down, swallowing her grief for her friend while walking forward.
"You alright?" Lavender asked while following her.
"Mhm," the Glaceon forced her head up and swallowed again. "Just thought of some bad things."
"Did something happen here?" The smile on Lavender's face had been replaced with concern and worry.
Snowbelle forced a smile. "Don't worry about m-" She froze before she could finish her sentence, her eyes wide.
"Huh?" Lavender stopped right next to her and looked around frantically. "Are you alright?...There's nothing here...?"
The Glaceon coughed. "I thought I saw my-...someone. Someone. Just someone. It's alright."
"Who?" Lavender turned to look at her, confusion written all over her own face.
"It's fine," Snowbelle kept her forced smile despite it not relaxing. "Sorry, let's keep going."
"Snowbelle, you can tell me anything, I might not understand to the best of my ability, but I promise I'll support y-"
"Trust me, it's alright." the Glaceon bowed her head for a quick moment. "C'mon."
The streets was filled with liveliness and lacked any sign of angst, but Snowbelle's head was clouded with panic and thoughts. Lavender, on the other hand, looked around and took everything in quietly after noticing Snowbelle's tense body language. They finally reached the Plush Store and trotted in, the bell ringing crisply when the door opened.
