"It blew up. When I posted it. It blew up and I didn't tell anyone." Dewdrop admitted quietly, standing right next to a table.
"Dew-there's a whole line outside the door. We don't have enough room for everyone outside right now." Lavender paced. "We could go outside and make a speech."
"And get everyone to leave?" Moonshade frowned a little.
"Shush, you can't be talking!" Lavender snapped. "Sorry, sorry."
"First time hearing you apologize." The Umbreon mumbled.
"Well..." Dewdrop looked straight in the Espeon's eyes. "I could go out and explain. Or just get Mel's station to boom right at the start."
"Already?" The Sylveon in question stretched to prove a point. "Geez, Dew, it's 7 in the morning!"
"Well, we have everything." Volt glanced at Snowbelle, who was reading a book that she brought to keep her sane. "Right?"
"Uh-huh." Snowbelle didn't even bother looking up.
"Uh-huh," Volt repeated. "Just take their order and hand them the stuff. Knew something was going to be odd so we made extra, right?"
"Uh-huh."
"Uh-huh, wait-why am I even repeating after you?" The Jolteon narrowed his eyes.
"That doesn't matter right now," Lavender groaned. "Mel, I'm sorry, but you gotta work in the morning. Dew, you could go outside and talk to them. Ask them about bringing the new goods back instead of eating here. If they're insistent, then...uh...just tell them that we're sincerely sorry."
"Sure." Dewdrop shrugged and went towards the door before turning around to smile at Lavender.
Volt glared at his sister and trotted towards his girlfriend.
"Dude, why do you get jealous so easily?" Bonfire asked out loud. "She's just tryna be friendly with your girl!"
"Uh-huh." Volt responded sarcastically, standing close to Lavender.
"Uh-huh." Snowbelle echoed before flipping a page."Everyone! Uh..." The moment Dewdrop stepped outside, the commotion died down completely and the world seemed to go perfectly still and quiet. "...Hi!"
The crowd stared blankly at the Vaporeon.
"As you all know, we're opening today, but since so many of you kind Mons showed up to show support, uh..." Dewdrop suddenly felt as if the right words of some sort of pre-written script came to her all at once. "We don't have enough space inside."
Everyone was still quiet for a few moments, until some Mons started whispering to each other. Dewdrop waited for a little and spoke again.
"Everyone! I know you've probably all came a long way just to see, and are probably disappointed and upset about this, but...uh...we also have the option to take products back! Like a takeout but you have to go in first! Interior takeout! Right! My bad, guys!"
"So, I would like to check with y'all: Who would be willing to instead get some products from the takeout to bring back home so you won't be empty-handed?"
A few hands rose in the sky, and many more began to join in. Dewdrop heaved a sigh of relief.
"Great! So, for those who were here first and want to sit down to look at customer service, please come in!" Dewdrop organized. "For those who want to just bring back stuff, after them. And for those who are willing to wait for a seat, please go to the back. We sincerely apologize for any delayed times."
The crowd began rearranging themselves and Dewdrop leaned back into the café to signal Lavender. Melody straightened up and whacked herself a few times to come off as energetic and sane, while everyone else rushed into position.
"Alrighty, start coming in!"
The customers all trotted into the café and admired the clean but fashionable interior design. Lavender and Willow ducked into the office and watched the surveillance cameras.
"Y'know, Dew's really good at this." Willow remarked while the line of customers kept entering. "When are we gonna start the announcement?"
"Which one?" Lavender frowned.
"The one that you said you were gonna do if you couldn't do that 'cut the ribbon' thingy. You can't do it, so...?"
"Oh, yeah. I was really looking forward to it, y'know?" Lavender shuffled through some papers and took out what seemed like a script.
"Can I see?" Willow extended her paw out. "Mind rehearsal."
"Yeah sure! Ooh, Cinna's in the action! Look!" Lavender handed the paper to Willow before turning to the cameras.
The Eevee in question was suddenly handing out the food while Bonfire was busy with taking orders and fulfilling additional requests.
"Done scanning it." Willow looked up from the script. "When are we gonna start?"
"When they start recording it." Lavender stared into the cameras intently.
Willow narrowed her eyes. "Won't they all start recording at different times?"
Lavender turned and smiled. "Average times."
