"Come in."
Snowbelle carefully pushed open the door. Willow saw her and instantly rolled over on the bed, looking away from her without saying anything.
"Sis," Snowbelle finally mustered the courage to talk. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you yesterday. I took your care for granted, and I wanted to tell you that I really appreciate everything that you've done for me. You've..."
"It's fine, Sis. I forgive you." Willow rolled around and sat up. "You know I don't hold grudges against anyone."
"Still, I was so worried that you would hate me." Snowbelle took a step closer. "Y'know?"
"Belle, you're delusional," the Leafeon groaned. "I'm your sister, obviously I wouldn't hate you!"
"Yeah...my sister..." the Glaceon trotted until she was right in front of Willow.
The Leafeon got off the bed and gave her sister a tight hug. Snowbelle suddenly remembered when ██████ ███ ████████ her during a hug. She flinched and couldn't move.
Willow realized what she had just done and immediately jumped back. "Sis! I'm so sorry-"
Snowbelle stared into the ground, panic seeping through her entire mind and numbing every part of her body.
"Sis! Belle!"
Her voice was drowning out again. Snowbelle tried focusing on something that she could trust, but everything was draining before it went pitch dark.
"SNOWBELLE!" Willow cried out as she caught the collapsing Glaceon.
Snowbelle's eyes were closed and it seemed like she was sleeping. Willow moved her onto the bed when the door was knocked on.
"Where...where am I?"
Snowbelle stood in an indescribable place, fear filling but not numbing her body.
"Hello."
An indescribable voice rang out.
"Wh...where are you!? Come out!" the Glaceon got into her battle stance.
"I don't intend to harm you. I would just like to talk with you."
Snowbelle shook her head. "Listening to you makes me feel like you can ambush me at any time. I will not take that risk."
"Hm, you're different from the others I visited. Tell me, what is your view on existences?"
Existences!? Like, the only thing that Melody remembered from last time's dream!?
"Precisely. Seems like you didn't forget about that event."
"Where Volt, Dewdrop, Lavender and Melody fell asleep randomly?" Snowbelle changed her stance, her expression going from suspicion to shock. "Everyone else forgot?"
"The ██████ had forgotten about their dream, which was just like this one. Then everyone forgot about it, except for you. I see your internal confusion and conflicts, and I would like to propose a little offer for you. You won't remember any of this once you wake up." Somehow, a specific word was blurred out, and Snowbelle couldn't understand or decode it.
"I didn't forget about the fatigue, how are you so sure that I would forget about this?"
"Like I said, it's written for you." the voice suddenly paused. "You remembered for a reason, and this is why I'm also giving you an offer."
"Because of what, I'm special?" Snowbelle snapped.
"I have the power to erase your existence upon special request."
The Glaceon rolled her eyes. "Alright. What's your offer?"
"Would you be willing to trade someone else's ██████ █████████ for something that you can get that scales off of it?
Snowbelle stepped back, her eyes wide. "They die if I trade, no?"
"You get to choose who, in fact. I know you have a complex relationship with her."
The Glaceon felt a feeling of stunned rage. "She's still alive?"
"Precisely, but quite old."
"Would the process of extraction be painful?" Snowbelle scowled.
"I can ensure you, it's quite painful compared to what I've seen occasionally."
Snowbelle leered towards the direction of the voice. "What if it's low?"
"Then you just killed someone for no reason at all. You would be responsible for her death."
"Why? I wasn't the one who directly took her life, I merely used it as something to protect the ones that I should've in the beginning."
"Your hatred fascinates me. I've seen the entire process of your lifetime, but I would have never predicted such an outcome. Are you going to take the offer?"
"Can I keep it for a later time?"
"No. Once a final decision is made and completed, you will wake up and not be aware of ever being faced with a cruel choice."
"I think this offer is a good system of yours." Snowbelle complimented with malice in her tone.
