It's founders day. There's a big parade that Damon tells me I have to go to. Thankfully I don't have to dress up in an 1800s dress, though. While sometimes I do miss looking nice and pretty in them, I definitely don't miss those tight corsets.

Stefan and Elena are already there. They have to be on the float so they have to dress up. Damon just left to meet Stefan and Elena before the parade starts. I decide that I'll take my time and if I'm late, so be it.

I open my newly stocked wardrobe with all the clothes I could fit in my multiple suitcases flying over here. I Pick out a tight black skirt with black tights and knee high black boots. I pair it with a tight fitted cream colored cardigan and do my hair in my usual 90s blowout style. I put on my everyday jewelry and spray some of my favorite expensive perfume before grabbing my keys and heading out to my car.

"Let's give a big hand to the Mystic Falls high school marching band," Carol Lockwood speaks into a microphone as the parade passes through the street. "And, for a little local history, Mr. Saltzman's students have re-created Virginia's battle of Willow Creek." Tyler and Jeremy are on that float. I spot Bonnie in the crowd, watching so I decide to walk over to her.

   "Bonnie, hi."

"Oh, hey Angela. Good to see you." We look up as the Miss Mystic float passes by.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our stunning Miss Mystic Falls court and their handsome escorts." Stefan and Elena wave. God, Elena looks so like Katherine with the period dress and curly hair. Caroline is there with her escort, Matt. "This is Caroline Forbes, Miss Mystic Falls." Everyone cheers. "Aren't they beautiful?"

Elena waves to Bonnie and I. Damon steps right in front of us, blocking our view to wave at Elena. I roll my eyes. Damon turns around to us. "What do you want?" Bonnie asks him.

"Just watching the parade." She turns to walk away.

   "Where are you going?"

   "Away from you."

"I wanna say something to you."

   "Just leave me alone."

"Damon-" I start. I heard all about what happened Bonnie's grams. I know she doesn't feel too kindly about Damon and Stefan.

   "Thankyou," Damon cuts me off.

"The device that Emily spelled could've killed me. I don't take what you did lightly so, thankyou."

"I did it for Elena," Bonnie tells him.

"I know that, but I'm still very grateful. And.. I owe you. Enjoy the parade." Bonnie stands there, looking at the spot Damon just stood.

"Hey, do you wanna... maybe go to the Grill, get some lunch?" I ask Bonnie. The parade is just finishing up.

"Ummm... I mean yeah, sure, why not?"

"On me," I say in a singsong voice. It's clear how Bonnie feels about vampires.

She laughs, "do you even eat.. um.. real... food?"

I laugh, "yes, I do. Honestly, I almost eat real food as much as... you know. The other stuff is just to keep me going. Keep me from rotting. I find eating more real food takes away cravings."

"Oh, I see. What's your favorite kinda food then?"

"Definitely Italian. I love pasta. I'm kinda living in Italy, you see. Obviously I move around a lot and I travel lots of places because, you know. I have forever, so why not take the chance to go everywhere and see everything? But I have a house in Italy and it's definitely my forever home. I love it there."
