By the way Kat was talking yesterday, it sounded as if she wants to be here if Klaus comes for Elena. I'm betting she wants to hand Elena over in exchange for her freedom. I'm also guessing she'll want to deliver him everything he needs for the ritual. She'll need a vampire, a werewolf and the moonstone.

I know the way Katherine thinks. She'll probably try to find the moonstone, which we gave to George Lockwood back in 1864.  So I have to get it first. I think my best bet might be Mason Lockwood. If I can charm him enough, I might be able to get the moonstone from him. I just need to 'accidently' bump into him somehow.

There's a carnival in town tonight. Elena and Bonnie are organizing it, seeing as Caroline is in hospital. Stefan and Damon are going. I plan on going too. Things always seen to happen at these events, it's better not to miss it.

I spot Stefan and Damon in a tent watching Tyler Lockwood arm wrestle some guy. He beats him easily. "He's got strength," Damon is onto something. He knows that the Lockwood's are some kind of supernatural. I don't want him finding out exactly what just yet.

"He's a triple-letter varsity athlete. Of course he has strength," I walk up beside them.

   "Your reaching," Stefan adds.

"Didn't know you were coming tonight," Damon looks at me.

"I love a good carnival," I wink, "why, is that a problem?" he just stares at me in suspicion. Mason Lockwood walks over to Tyler, preparing to arm wrestle him. Perfect. Just the opportunity I was looking for.

"I bet I can take you."

   "Enter the uncle," Damon comments.

"Bring it on surfer boy," Tyler seems pretty confident. Not for long. I smirk.

"This is ridiculous," Stefan says as the bell rings and they start to wrestle. Tyler is struggling. Mason beats him easily within a couple of seconds.

"Damn it! Is that it?" Mason is delighted with himself.

"Alright, he's the champ. Who wants to go next?" Tyler looks around.

"Hey, ah, Stefan wants a go," Damon says. I roll my eyes. Stefan will hate this.

Stefan glares at Damon, "Yeah, sure. I'll, uh, give it a shot, you know."

"Get him, Stef!" Damon shouts. I laugh.

"My brother over there thinks I can beat you," Stefan tells Mason. Mason looks over, his eyes lingering on me.

"Your brother's wrong," he answers. The bell rings. Stefan puts in a good fight for a minute, looking comfortable, but then Mason slams his hand down onto the table. Damon sighs in annoyance.

"You didn't put in any effort at all," he says when Stefan walks over.

   "Yeah, actually I did."

"Come with me," Damon says, walking away. I look back to see Mason slam a guys hand down as soon as the bell rings again. He walks away, smiling. This is my chance.

"Pretty strong for a surfer," I walk over to him. He beams at me.

"I was hoping I'd see you around."

   I laugh, "Yeah?"

"Yeah." We walk out of the tent and start to walk around the carnival. "So, Angela. Where are you from?"

"I lived in London for a long while."

"Yeah, I noticed the accent," he smiles.

"What about you, Mason? Where were you until now?"
