I wake slowly to the sun shining on my face. I rub my neck, which is aching from the pain of being snapped repeatedly.

"Good, your awake. I was starting to get bored." I look to my right to see Rebekah sitting beside me in the front seat of... a truck? Growing suspicious, I scan my surroundings. I'm not surprised to see that we've left Chicago, but I really didn't expect us to be back in Mystic Falls.

I groan in frustration. "Not this bloody town again."

"Well if the two of you weren't hiding something, then we wouldn't be here."

"Hiding something? What... Stefan," I sigh.

"Yes. Stefan. There's something up with him. He's not being fully honest with us. So here we are, back in this bloody town."

Without saying anything else, I get out of the truck quickly before Rebekah can stop me. I have to do something, try get a warning across. Klaus can't find out that Elena is alive.

"Not so fast," Klaus appears in front of me out of nowhere. Stefan walks up behind him. I shove him hard in the chest so that he's forced to take a couple of steps back.

"What the hell are you playing at!? Hmm? I'm sick and tired of following you around just because you want to punish me for something that happened years ago, something that was your fault! I'm done! No more."

He looks taken aback by my sudden outburst. "Well my love, you don't really have a choice."

"And you wonder why your so hated. It's because your a horrible, horrible person." I walk closer so that we're face to face. "I'm leaving. You can't stop me. Pick another woman to be your plaything."

I walk away. Surprisingly, he lets me go. It's a bit of a trek to walk all the way to the boarding house from town, but I don't care, I need to let off some steam.

Why did I get so angry at him? I'm not sure. I suppose I had been bottling it up all summer and when I saw that we were back in Mystic Falls, I snapped.

So lost in my thoughts, I don't hear the footsteps dangerously close behind me until it's too late. Until my neck snaps and I lose consciousness.

I awaken with a gasp, taking a deep breath to fill my empty lungs. My neck is throbbing from being snapped repeatedly.. again. I take in my surroundings. I'm in a car, the backseat, it's dark. I can hear voices coming from outside the car. It sounds like they're arguing. Hold on... I know those voices...

Sure enough when I look out the window I'm met with the image of my none other than my darling sister and Damon Salvatore. Katherine walks behind the car and I lay low, so they won't realize I'm awake. "Are you willing to do whatever it takes to stop Klaus?" I hear her say.

"I'm not turning back," Damon replies.

"Good. Because this isn't gonna win you any points at home," Katherine opens the trunk.

   "Jeremy? Really?"

They take Jeremy out and put him on a bench close to the car. Fighting every instinct I have to get out and beat both of their asses for taking me, I remain hidden, listening to their conversation.

"What if I told you there was a way to kill Klaus? And not dagger dead. 'Dead' dead" Katherine says, sitting up on the bench. My heart drops, and I don't know why. It shouldn't, it really shouldn't bother me that they might have found a way to kill him. I should be happy. He's done horrible things to everyone. But I'm not happy.
