I keep falling in and out of consciousness. My eyes are heavy after being sedated with vervain over and over again to keep me down, but when I manage to open them a little, I can make out the back seat of a car, two men in the front. If I focus really hard I can tell that one of them is a vampire and one is human. Every time the vampire hears me wake up, he either sedates me with more vervain or snaps my neck. That's why I'm trying to be really quiet. If he doesn't realize I'm awake, maybe I can regain my strength and grab the human to feed on.

I feel the car slow and come to a stop. The vampire opens the backseat door and lifts me out. I keep my eyes shut tight as I can feel the bright sun shining down on me. It's the next day then.  I feel myself being lifted into another car. "Any problems?" A voice asks from the drivers seat. I recognize that voice. Where do I know it from?

   "No, sir."

"Good. Sedate her again," the voice demands, and I feel myself start to black out for what feels like the millionth time as the needle is stuck into me.

I stir awake to the feel of burning on my ankles, wrists and across my abdomen. Vervain. I hear someone walk into the room. Two people. And I know who one of them is. I can hear the familiar sound of Elena Gilbert's breathing. "What do you want?" I hear her say. The vampire shushes her. "Please, I'm hurt."

"I know," the man says. That voice again.. where do I know him from? "Just a taste."

   "No!" Elena shouts.

"Trevor! Control yourself," a woman says. Another vampire. I know who they are now. I hoped I would never see that annoying little bastard again. Trevor. The woman must be his friend, Rose-Marie. The vampire who turned Katerina and I. I never met her personally, but Kat told me about her.

"Buzz kill," I hear Trevor walk away. I continue to pretend I am still unconscious, even though it's hard trying not to wince at the vervain ropes binding me tightly to the chair.

"What do you want with me?" Elena asks.

"My God, you look just like her," Rose remarks.

"But I'm not.. please, whatever you-"

"Be quiet," Rose cuts her off, sternly.

"But I'm not Katherine. My name is Elena Gilbert. You don't have to do this," Elena pleads.

"I know who you are, I said be quiet."

"What do you want?" I hear Rose slap her, hard. I open my eyes just enough to see that Elena is passed out on the couch.

"I want you to be quiet." I shut my eyes quickly as Rose turns and walks in my direction. She hovers over me for a minute, presumably to see if I'm still unconscious, before walking away.

I try to wiggle my ankles and wrists to see if there's any way I might be able to get out. Nope, they're so tight that they're nearly cutting off my blood flow. I curse the fact that I'm still in my clothes from last night. A dress and heels aren't ideal for escaping kidnappers. And I'd usually have a pocket knife on me if it weren't for the dress.

That's when I remember my hidden pockets. The bottom of my dress which rests mid-thigh is flared, making room for a couple of hidden pockets. I put a small pocket knife in one of them, just in case. But I can't get to it. Not with my wrists bound to the chair. I guess I'll have to wait for Elena to wake up.

I hear nothing for a few minutes. I start to wonder if Rose and Trevor are even still here when they finally speak. "How are the girls?" Rose asks.
