As the company travels they stop to get more water, food, and herds for healing. Esmeralda was getting better from her sister's healing and the potions on the way with the company to reclaim their home.

The company was worried about Esmeralda when they found out she was injured and yet she showed no regret. Sure it hurt her, but she was used to it. That was how she told them and that didn't help them at all.

They notice that the scars on her arms and back weren't from the battls she fought in her world. It was from abuse. To think anyone would harm such a fierce, selfless, stubborn, and compassionate woman.

So they left the conversation behind when she didn't talk anymore. Then they continue travelling and have Bilbo to scout further on the next stop. Everyone stops to rest waiting for Bilbo.

Bilbo peeks over some rocks on a high ledge and watches Azog and his Warg Scouts running along a ridgeline not far away, occasionally stopping to smell the air in their pursuit of the Company. Not finding anything, they continue on their way.

Suddenly, Bilbo hears a snarl from the side, and ducks behind the rocks. He peeks out and sees a large bear watching Azog from another pile of rocks, snarling softly. Bilbo sneaks away.

Bilbo has made his way down the rocks to where the dwarves, Esmeralda, Luna, and Gandalf are waiting to hear Bilbo's spy report. Bilbo pant trying to catch his breath. Dwalin step a little close next to Thorin facing Bilbo.

"How close is the pack?," Dwalin asked

"Too close. A couple of leagues, no more, but that is not the worst of it," Bilbo breathed.

"Have the Wargs picked up our scent?," Dwalin questioned.

"Not yet, but they will; we have another problem," Bilbo replied.

"Did they see you? They saw you!," Gandalf asked.

Esmeralda rolled her eyes and Luna, Kili, and Fili tried not to laugh at how Gandalf is acting right now.

"No, that's not it," Bilbo said furrowed his eyebows.

Both Esmeralda and Luna sympathy for the poor Hobbit. While Gandalf smiles and turns to the dwarves.

"What did I tell you? Quiet as a mouse. Excellent burglar material," Gandalf chuckles

The dwarves chuckle loudly in appreciation of Bilbo. Bilbo looks exasperated that no one is hearing him out.

"Will you listen- Will you just listen? I'm trying to tell you there is something else out there," Bilbo said with a serious tone and face.

The dwarves look worried, while Esmeralda looks with a thoughtful look and Luna is just relaxing against her sister. Gandalf looked at him with a knowing look going unnoticed, but didn't go unnoticed by Esmeralda.

"What form did it take? Like a bear?," Gandalf asked wanting to confirm his knowing information.

"Ye..." Bilbo stops before he could answer.

He pauses and looks curiously at Gandalf. Esmeralda has a feeling she could get along with who she knows she is going to know in two days or she can just help him with the Orc's.

"Y- yes. But bigger, much bigger," Bilbo answered then

Bofur, turn to Gandalf, "You knew about this beast?," he asked Gandalf.

Gandalf turns and walks a few steps away.

"I say we double back," Bofur suggested seeing as Gandalf didn't answer him.
