I hesitated for a moment, trying to process the enormity of what Lena was asking me to do. But something in her words resonated with me, something about the injustice and the pain she had endured.

"Okay," I said finally, my voice barely above a whisper. "I'll do it. But I need to know what happened. What did your uncle do to you?"

Lena's expression turned cold and calculating, and I could sense the darkness lurking beneath her surface.

"He was my uncle," she began, her voice devoid of emotion. "He lived with my family for a while, after my parents died in a car accident. He was supposed to take care of me, but he didn't."

She paused, her eyes glinting with a hint of tears.

"He would come into my room at night, when I was sleeping. He would touch me, hurt me... and then tell me it was my fault. That I was dirty, that I was worthless."

I felt a wave of nausea wash over me as I listened to her words. This man had committed unspeakable acts of abuse against his own niece.

"I tried to tell my mother's sisters, my aunts," Lena continued. "But they didn't believe me. They thought I was lying, that I was making it up for attention. So I kept quiet."

I felt a surge of anger and outrage on behalf of Lena. How could her own family not have believed her?

"What's his name?" I asked, my voice firm.

"Leland Pierce," she replied, her eyes flashing with hatred. "And he's still out there, living his life like nothing ever happened. But with you helping me, he won't get away with it anymore."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized the gravity of what we were about to do. We were planning murder, and there was no going back.

I knew I was taking a huge risk by agreeing to help Lena, but something about her story resonated with me. I couldn't imagine going through what she had gone through and not wanting to take revenge.

"I'll do it," I said, my voice firm. "But we need to be careful. We can't just walk into his house and kill him. We need a plan."

Lena nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "I've been thinking about this for a long time. I know his routine. He usually goes to the bar on Friday nights and stays out late. He'll be alone at his house by midnight."

I nodded, my mind racing with possibilities. "What's his address?"

Lena gave me the address, and I pulled up the location on my phone. It was a house on the outskirts of town, surrounded by woods.

"We'll need to be careful getting in and out," I said. "And we can't leave any trace behind."

Lena nodded, her eyes gleaming with determination. "I've thought about that too. I have an old key to the back door that I've been keeping hidden away. We can use that to get in and out without being seen."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized how careful we would have to be. This was a risky plan, but I knew we had to do it.

"Do you have any idea what he's doing tonight?" I asked.

Lena shook her head. "No, but I'm sure he'll be at the bar tonight. He always is on Fridays."

I nodded, thinking through the plan in my head. We would need to get to the bar early, follow him home, and then wait for the perfect moment to strike.

"What time does he usually leave the bar?" I asked.

"Usually around 1 am," Lena replied.

I nodded, making a mental note of the time. "Okay, we'll plan to be in position by 12:30 am. That way we can follow him home and get into position before he goes to bed."

Lena nodded, her eyes locked onto mine. "Let's do this."
