Joshy #2 (Pt. 1)

Sage's P.O.V
"I'm so excited to finally meet all of your friends!" I exclaimed like a giddy child.

"I wish I felt the same way." Simon sighed.

"Why don't you?" I looked at him disappointed.

"Because I don't want one of my best friends developing a crush on my twin sister. Or vice versa." he explained.

"Well, at least JJ won't." Since JJ has been a long time friend of Simon's he is a friend of mine as well. I haven't seen him since I started to go to Uni. Now that I've graduated, Simon let me move in with him. When we got to the Sidemen house, Simon suggested we go meet them before bringing in my stuff.

"Guys! We're home!" Simon yelled. Home, yeah, this is my new home. It's weird to think about but awesome at the same time.

"We're in the kitchen!" someone responded. Simon led me around the stairs to a room on the left. Inside sat three other guys. One of them being JJ. Another guy was sat on an island in the middle.

"Guys I'd like you to meet my sister, Sage. Sage this is Tobi and Vik." Simon introduced me.

"Sage!" JJ screamed before giving me the world's biggest hug. It was so tight I couldn't even speak to tell him to let go. Luckily he set me free shortly after. "You actually look normal since I last saw you!" he proclaimed. I laughed taking no offense to it. He was kind of right about that. In the end of my high school life I went through this phase. I got really into rock and black clothing and, although my hair is now a natural colour, (blonde) some remains of my past still existed on me.

"Wait where's-" Simon got cut off by someone else.

"I'm coming, I'm here!" another boy came running around the corner. He had dark brown hair, a beard, black earrings, black Sidemen jumper, jeans, and Nemo socks. Now, everyone knows that feeling when they see someone and they think "oh they're so cute" or any sort of attraction comes about so don't tell me those cheesy moments don't exist! Mainly because this is one of those moments. I'm not going to lie, I find him hot.

"Sage this is Josh, Josh this is Sage." Simon put his arm around me. We all stood in the kitchen and talked for a good while about when me and Simon were kids; like how I always did things to him in his sleep or how interesting having a share birthday was.

"Do you guys know who's older?" Tobi asked. We shook our heads.

"Our parents always kept it secret so we wouldn't tease or fight the other person about it." I explained to him.

"Sage what's that on your tongue?" Josh pointed.

"Oh, it's a piercing." I stuck out my tongue, displaying a small diamond. "I also have a tattoo here," I pulled up my right jacket sleeve showing a tattoo of a bar code. "And here." I showed them my other one which is a compass on my left hip.

"Okay I take it back about you looking normal again." JJ said.

"Didn't that hurt?" Vik asked looking at them.

"Yeah." I shrugged. "But it's done now. That was what, five years ago?"

"Come on, Sage. Lets get you moved into your new room." Simon dragged me back out to the car. After getting our stuff he led me to a room across from his. "You can obviously decorate this to your extent." Simon said opening the door with his hands full. When he finally opened the door, Josh was already inside sitting on my new bed with a Dr. Pepper. "What are you doing in here?" Simon put down the boxes.

"Welcoming Sage to her new room of course." he said with this tone that wasn't rude but more I don't know, cute.

"Well okay then. I've gotta use the bathroom, be right back." Simon excused himself. I honestly wasn't really sure how to feel here. The best I can do is start a weak conversation. Just don't embarrass yourself.

"You like Dr. Pepper?" I asked. Of all things really?

"Love it." Josh replied smiling before taking a sip.

"Me too." I added, sitting down next to him.

"Do you play any games?" he asked. I felt like this was almost one those conversation two six year olds have with each other.

"Yeah. The only games I play religiously, are FIFA and CoD." I smiles at him.

"Really? I get you playing FIFA, I mean you're Simon's twin, but you play CoD as well?" He sounded shocked.

"Yeah, do you?" I tried to keep the conversation going.

"Not as much as I used to. I used to be really good but now I just can't even shoot a gun." he said upset with himself.

"Well, if you ever have time I could help make you better again." I offered. I don't really know what this proposal is but,

"That would be great!" It could turn out for the better. Sometimes you just have to go for it you know? Then his phone started ringing. Just when things were going swell. "I'll be right back." Josh said before answering. "Hey, Freya!" He then left and Simon entered.

"Simon?"

"Yes?"

"Who's Freya?"

"Josh's girlfriend."

That's when my heart shattered. Even if he had a girlfriend the feelings I have for him, didn't go away. Not for the next year.
