Simon laid under his messy covers on his stomach in a starfish shape. It was one in the afternoon. Josh and Vik peeked into his room. The light from the hallway shining in. It was completely dark in Simon's room. The window closed, and all the monitors off.

"Simon you need to get up." Josh told him entering.

"Mmm go away." Simon mumbled, flipping to face away from the light. He pulled his covers over him.

"God I always forget how awful your room smells." Vik snorted.

"It's the smell of failure." Simon grumbled.

"Lying in bed all day won't get rid of you know who." Josh opened the blinds. This person Josh is talking about, is Simon's ex girlfriend.

This is the story. Simon and Grace, the girlfriend, had a lovely relationship. There was one problem to it. They fought a lot. They'd fight over the stupidest things day after day. Luckily they could always make up real easily usually anywhere between right after the fight and the end of the day. They loved each other, they couldn't stay apart for too long. As proven by the fact that they've broken up but then got back together within three days multiple times. Only Josh, Vik, and JJ knew about these break ups. Then there was one fight that broke it all apart. Everything from before had piled up. Like Simon's clothes on the floor. The name calling, constant fights, on and off agains. It's been two months since they broke up and Grace moved out. It might not seem like a lot but it is to Simon. That's sixty one days.

"Get up!" Josh barked. He yanked the pillow on Simon's head away. Simon just disappeared under the blankets. "I know this hurts you buddy. I know you miss her but goddamn you smell and you haven't left the house once!"

"Why should I?" Simon muffled.

"Because it's good for you? Maybe that'll get your mind off of her." Josh tried pulling the covers away but Simon wouldn't let go.

"Noooooooooo." Simon moaned. Josh looked at Vik before letting go. The two got on the other side of the bed and pushed him off. Simon hit the floor. He muttered something under his breath.

"Simon. Come on. It's time to move on. It's not like she's going to randomly show up at our door begging to take you back." Vik said sternly. Simon let out a loud, long, frustrated groan.

"I'm not interested in some girl on the streets. I want, Grace."

Grace laid on the couch with her new boyfriend, Thomas. They were cuddled watching TV as it poured outside in the night. Something her and Simon used to do, but she shooed those memories away. Thomas started kissing her neck so she pulled him in for a kiss. They kissed for a bit before she could feel his kisses getting rougher. She pulled away shaking her head.

"Grace," Thomas sighed.

"Sorry, I just don't want to." Grace denied.

"But you always turn me away." Thomas whined.

"We've only been dating for a little over a month." Grace reasoned.

"I'm not trying to have sex with you. What's wrong?" Thomas muted the TV. Grace took a deep breath. She knows exactly what it is. It's Simon. She misses him and can't stop thinking about him. After they broke up, she moved right back in her old house that she shared with her friend; who is currently out visiting family. Grace always ignored these old feelings for Simon. She moved on too quickly. Grace never told her new boyfriend about Simon in attempt to forget him.

"It's, I," Grace tried to figure out how to start the sentence. "I'm not really interested in you. I'm sorry, I just went too quickly from one relationship to another. You're a great guy, but, not my guy."

"No, I understand. It's fine if you want to break up with me. I don't really want to spend time with someone who isn't into me. I'll just leave." Thomas said getting up. Grace couldn't tell if he was upset or not but she honestly didn't care.

She spent the next hour continuing watching TV until she got a text. It was from a number not under a name but one she knew by heart. It was the same one that tried relentless times to contact her for a month. Simon's. It read, "Look outside". Grace got up and looked out her window. It was still raining. She saw Simon under the street lamp across the street, soaking wet.

Simon watched as she moved from the window. He felt his heart drop thinking she ignored him. Then her front door opened and she stepped outside. Grace looked both ways before running across the street into Simon's arms. It was hard to tell apart the rain drops on their faces from the tears. No words were needed for them to understand the clear message of,

"I'm sorry. I miss you. I love you."
