You swung your arm back and forth while you were hand in hand with Ethan's. Right now you guys were at a shopping plaza looking for decorations to put in your's and Ethan's new flat. After you two messed around in the same store for an hour, you placed the three items you bought into your car. It was only noon so you guys decided to go get some lunch. While looking around a place to eat you spotted a pet store. Little cocker spaniel puppies ran around in the front window display. You frantically started slapping Ethan's arm.

"Look! Look!" you cried. Ethan just chuckled, shaking his head as you pointed at the store. You ran up to the front, plastering your hands and face to the glass. Ethan put his arm around your waist. "Aww!" One of the puppies jumped up on the glass barking at you. "I need you." you whispered intensely at it.

"I know how much you love dogs, but we aren't getting one." Ethan protested. You looked up and pouted at him.

"But, but just look him! Or her?" you spoke. Ethan shook his head.

"Especially since we just got a new place." he added on to his reasoning.

"Please!" You begged. "We can even name him Dave."

"Fucking Dave the puppy." Ethan murmured to himself looking out into space. "I'm sorry but no." Ethan declined.

"Please?! I'll love you forever." you mumbled snuggling into him.

"Oh, so don't love me now?" Ethan pulled you away. "Now you're certainly aren't getting one." he tapped your nose. He then pulled you away from the dogs.

Luckily, two months later for your birthday, he got one of those same puppies. And as you promised you loved him forever.
