The European tour started and Eva hardly noticed. Liam would leave mid-morning and be home around one or two in the morning. He didn't stay overnight at any of the tour stops. He wanted to come home. It seemed silly to sleep in a hotel for just a few hours.
Lex was barely around. She went everywhere with Niall. Every tour stop, every show. People were even beginning to speculate on twitter that Lex was more than Liam's girlfriend's sister. Thank god that their mother didn't have a twitter account. Eva did not want to explain why her 17 year old sister was hanging out with a 21 year old rock star.
"Hey, baby." Liam said one afternoon. He had just gotten back from doing some publicity thing. "I'm having some of the guys over to play poker tonight. Is that okay?"
"Uh, it's your flat. You can do what you want." Eva told him.
"It's our flat. So, no I can't. You don't have plans?"
"Nope. Lex is with Niall. He's showing her London. Never mind she came here to see me." Eva huffed.
Liam walked over to the kitchen and hugged her. "Feeling left out ,baby?"
"Yes! I had this whole summer planned and she goes off with Niall. I'm almost bored."
"Bored? I know something you can do! Can you please make snacks for me?" Liam asked.
Eva sighed. "I might as well. Got nothing better to do."
Eva decided to throw her heart and soul into making the best poker snacks in the world. Hot wings, sliders, homemade salsa, cheese straws, veggies she knew they wouldn't eat, and brownies. Liam stocked the fridge with drinks.
Eva left him to finish up and greet his friends. She went into the bedroom to read a book but decided to text Dylan.
Eva: What are you doing?
Dylan: I'm at work. Why?
Eva: I'm bored, Where are Marian and Emma?
Dylan: at work. Get a job.
Eva: You know I can't.
Dylan: Check on campus. They are short people this summer, You never know.
Eva: We are leaving in a week.
Dylan: Then shut up and leave us working stiffs alone. Stupid people wanting their stupid food when it is hot.
Eva sighed and threw the phone on her bed. She grabbed her book and tried reading again. She really needed a reading chair. Laying on the bed made her tired. She yawned and decided to take a nap when she smelled the smoke. They were smoking in the house. Ick. She opened the door, intending to open the patio doors.
"Sorry, babe. Louis brought cigars." Liam yelled. "I'll open the door."
Ugh. She didn't want to be that person. The 'Dude is your wife here, I don't want to get in trouble' person. Instead she decided to go and see what they were playing. She walked over to Liam, lifted up one of his arms, sat in the lap and put the arm back. "Hey, Evie." he said. "Guys, this is Evie. Do you know everyone? I can't remember."
"I think so. Except that blue eyed weirdo at the end." Louis flipped her off. "Why only 5 people?"
"Niall's late. He texted that he was on his way and to start without him. He's bringing your sister home." Liam explained,
"Okay." she said, nuzzling her nose into Liam's neck, giving him tiny kisses.
"Oi! I thought we said no chicks tonight!" Louis gripped.
"I'm not a chick, Louis. And I can kick your butt anytime, any day." Eva shot back.
"Ha! Sure." Louis laughed.
