"What time is it in England right now?" Eva asked Liam as they lay in bed that night.

Liam looked at his phone. "Around 3am. Why?"

"It's Saturday. My hair appointment would be in 7 hours." Eva sniffed.

"Please, don't. Okay? Just don't. You are just going to upset yourself." Liam put his arm around her waist, pulled her close and kissed her ear. "Tomorrow is going to be horrible, just sleep, okay?" She nodded her head and wiggled down until her shoulder was in Liam's armpit and her head was on his arm. "Why do you sleep in my armpit? You do that all the time."

"I fit here." she said. Liam couldn't argue with that, so he shrugged his shoulders and closed his eyes, hoping for sleep.

The next day came far too soon. The viewing began at 1 o'clock but they needed to be there early. They would get private time before the viewing started.  Liam forced Eva to eat lunch and then got her into the car. She laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes. "What was my charm today, Liam?"

"Stop. Don't think about that." Liam begged. "Please." Eva nodded.

Once they arrived at the funeral parlor. They were taken to a 'family area' with coffee, drinks and couches. There was even a TV. They were told that it was their room to use. Nobody was allowed in except family, so they could leave coats and purses. They were also welcome to bring in food and drink the provided drinks.  "Once you are all ready, we can go see Davidson."

Eva clung to Liam, terrified of what see was about to see. They walked into what could be anyone's living room, if not for the casket in the front. They even had a fireplace lit. Eva though it was creepy, but she thought they were trying to make it less so, and so she just decided to not think about it. Her mother went up to the casket first, said something to him and walked away, crying. Her mother was crying. That was nearly as strange as seeing her father in the casket. Andrew went next, taking Cindy with him. Eva started to shake. "I can't, Liam. I can't" she cried.

"Yes, you can. Come on." Liam walked up with her and told her dad goodbye and that he promised to take care of his daughter.

Laim squeezed her hand, and pulled her forward. She looked down at her father. "I'm so sorry, Daddy. I know this is my fault, all the crap you have had put up with the past two years because of me. And having to deal with mom afterwords. I don't know what I will do without you." She cried freely, letting her tears run down her face.

"It's not your fault, Evie. Don't be like that. It's nobody's fault." Liam told her. She didn't even acknowledge Liam's words. She leaned down and whispered to her father that she would make sure mom and Lex were okay and kissed his cold cheek. Then she walked away, taking Liam with her. She sat on one of the couches, with convenient tissues on the table, wiped off her face. Liam sat next to her and held her hand. Once Lex had finished, Her mother went and stood by the casket to receive people, shake hands and give hugs. It was suggested that one child at a time would stand with their mother. Andrew would go first.

Before Eva even realized that people had come in, the room was full. Some people she  knew, most she didn't. One older woman who she thought worked with dad came over to Eva. "You must be Evangeline. Your father talked about you all the time. He was very proud of you. Very proud to be going to your wedding. He kept telling us that he was going to walk his favorite child down the aisle. I have this for you. It's from all of us at the office. We were going to mail it, but...well, here." she said.

Liam stood up and pulled Eva with him. "Thank you so much, I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name?"

"Barbara, dear. My name is Barbara. You must be the fiance, English accent and all."
