Liam called everyday to ask how much longer. Lex answered one day and told him never. She was too good of a cook. "She's my cook, Lex. I'm starving here! Send her home!" Lex just laughed.

Eva grabbed the phone. "Hey, Li. How are you?"

"Hungry and lonely." he answered. "It's been 3 weeks. Come home. I'm officially on vacation next week. It's nearly December. Come home."

"I want to, so badly. She so much better and I've talked to Andrew. They are coming for Thanksgiving and we are going to make some decisions about who is going to help Lex. I told him I needed to go home."

"Good." Liam said.

"She came downstairs today. She watched me teach Lex how to make a grilled cheese sandwich. Then she hung out and watched TV."

"That's great. Come home."

"Liam!"

"Evangeline!"

She sighed. "Soon, I promise."

Liam was lonely. He convinced the guys to get together to play video games and watch football. They decided on Louis' place because he had the best equipment. He was also they only one who had a girlfriend around so he had the best chance of having food.

"Niall, throw me another beer." Liam called. Niall was in the kitchen, looking for food.

"Sure. Oi, Lou. Call Dylan. Make her bring food."

Louis laughed. "She doesn't cook. She's not Eva." Liam took his beer from Niall and flung the top at Lou, hitting him in the back of the head. "Ow! Wanker. That hurt."

"Shut up about my girl." Liam said.

"I didn't say anything bad. Just that she cooks. That's that kind of girlfriend. Dylan is more of a....I need to say this right so I don't sound like a pig....Buy her dinner and she'll do you on the kitchen floor kinda girlfriend."

"You still sounded like a pig, man." Niall said.

"You need to respect women, Louis." Harry said.

"Ha! You are one to talk. Where's Marian?" Louis threw back.

"She's not speaking to me."

"Because you won't man up and date her. And I'm the pig.  At least I call Dylan my girlfriend." Louis said.

"Okay, both of you shut up." Niall put in.

"I like this conversation. What's Lex? Does she cook and clean or kitchen floor?" Louis was on beer five and unfiltered.

"Dude. I'm not answering that." Niall put up his hands.

"Okay, that means kitchen floor."

"Hey!" Niall yelled.

"Deny it." Louis challenged. Niall didn't say anything. "Okay, So, what's better, in your opinion, Harry? Cook or floor? What are you looking for?"

"Okay," Liam interjected. "That's enough. Just because Eva is a good cook and stuff doesn't mean she's a 'type.' Shut up, Lou."

"Oh, come on! Quiet little Eva? Have sex on the kitchen floor? You know you get it once a week, in bed, and in the dark. You shut up." Lou was ready to fight.

"Dude, they had sex on the tour bus." Niall said.

"So? It was dark and in bed. It was probably the 'right' day and Liam insisted."

"Louis, I'm going to punch you. Just a warning." Liam warned.

Louis wasn't in the mood to stop. He grabbed beer six, took off the cap and flung it at Liam. "Come on dude. Own up. How many times a week? Dylan's good for at least five days."

"Oh, I really hope she knows what an ass your are. Stop drinking before you start showing her us her panties." Liam was angry. "I love Eva and it's none of your business."

"I knew it. I win." Lou gloated.

"Uh, Lou?" Niall put in. "You don't know what you are talking about, okay? Just stop."

"You date her sister. You must know. Spill it!" Lou said.

"What the fuck is wrong with you tonight? You are being an asshole." Niall said.

"Lou, Eva is our friend. We shouldn't even be talking about this."Harry said.

"No, man. I'm sick of Liam gloating about how awesome Eva is and how she's the best girl in the world and blah blah blah. If you love her so much, go and get the frigid bitch and shut up about it."

That was all Liam could take. He jumped on Lou and punched him in the face. "You are an ass." Liam threw down his beer and stomped out the door.

"Uh, Lou?" Niall said. "You okay?"

Louis touched his eye, which was already puffy and on it's way to being black. "Ya. Had no idea he was so sensitive about that. Maybe if she did him more, he'd be less tense."

"I repeat, what the fuck is wrong with you? Eva is your friend, you ass." Niall said.

"Dylan might be pregnant, man. And it's all Eva's fault. Damn her setting me up with her."

"Wait. What?" Harry asked.

"I screwed up, ok? I thought it would be fine. She's fucking late. Shit, I've only been dating her for 7 weeks. I fucking get her pregnant." Louis was angry. "It's all Eva's fucking fault. That frigid bitch sets the crazy amazon on me and now look? Fucking Eva."

"Drop it before I punch you. If she is, it's your own fucking fault. You can't blame Eva because you didn't wrap your dick, dumbass." Niall said. "And, by the way, I find that the man who brags gets less than he says and the man who is quiet is getting it every damn day."

Louis shut up after that.

Liam had never been so angry. Louis was such a pig. He hoped Dylan knew that. He'd always been an ass as far as women were concerned, but he wasn't going to talk about Evie like that. Eva loved to take care of people. She was good at taking care of people. She was going to be his wife. As soon as she got home, she would be his wife. It had been nearly month. Andrew was moving into the house soon. Lex knew how to pay the bills. Her mother actually got dressed every morning, now. Eva needed to come home, but convincing her would be the hard part. Lou was right about one thing, if he wanted her back, he was going to have to go get her. Man up. Stop whining. Tell her what you want. Marry her. That was his new mission.

He spent the next day on the phone with the travel agent, arranging everything. He was leaving in four hours to go to Michigan and get Evie. Two days after that, they left for Fiji. One day after that, they were getting married. He texted all of the dates to Niall and Andy, told them to wear khaki shorts and white button down shirts and get a copy of that Ed Sheeran song that she liked. He was getting married in four days, no matter what. He didn't care if he had to carry her out of the house, he was taking her to Fiji. He put her dress in the garment bag, grabbed her swimsuits, a few sundresses, some sandals, shorts, T-shirts and all the fancy underwear and nightgowns he could find. He found a box, way in the back of her underwear drawer marked, "Wedding Night" in Dylan's handwriting. If it was from Dylan, he'd like it. He threw that in the suitcase, too. Then he grabbed the rings and the last two charms. He was ready to go get his bride.
