As soon as they got back to 'civilization' Liam's cell phone went off. He about ten texts from his mother. She had news to share. He waited until they got to the hotel where the rest of the crew and the boys were staying. It was nearly 11oclock but, he called her anyway. "Hey, Mum." Liam said. "What's going on?" There was a pause. "Okay, hang on." Liam looked up at her. "She wants me to put it on speaker. Okay, go." he said as he pressed the button.
"Okay, are you listening? Can Eva hear me?" Karen asked.
"Yes, I can hear." Eva answered.
"Okay, well, Britney has found a solution to the dress problem. She was owed a favor by a woman who works for Vera Wang. Now, she can't custom make a dress, but that have samples that they are willing to tear apart and make into a dress for you. You have an appointment for the day after tomorrow. I know you'll be tired, but this is important. Vera is only doing this because of the exposure it will get her. It's a very rare opportunity."
"Exposure?" Eva asked.
"Hasn't Liam told you?" Karen sounded confused.
"No, he hasn't, thanks mum." Liam groaned. "She will be there. Day after tomorrow. Text her the time and address." Liam took the phone off speaker and turned his back to Eva. She heard him mumble a few things before he hung up.
Eva was staring at him. She didn't need to say a word. He knew she was waiting for an answer. "Well," he began. "Some magazines have approached management about buying the rights to our wedding pictures. Like, exclusive rights. They want to be the only photographers there. So, it's a big deal. Free advertising for Vera Wang. I bet you get your dress for free. Once this gets out, we will have a ton of people offering to give us things. I just didn't know how you'd feel about it."
"So, there would only be one magazine allowed? No paps shouting at us?"
"That's the idea. Who knew, right?" Liam said.
"Okay."
"What? You are agreeing? Why?" Liam was stunned.
"We can donate the money to the trisomy 13 group. It would really help them. And I don't want a ton of paps screaming in my face." Eva explained. "This seems like a good deal, right? Plus, I like free stuff. The freaking food is crazy enough. Did you know we have to give people a gift? Like a favor for coming? Like a candle or seeds or something like that. I got an entire catalog in the mail for party favors. I also got one about butterflies. You can buy butterflies. Why?"
"No idea, love. Thank you for not freaking out again." Liam walked into the bathroom.
Eva followed. "I'm working very hard on not freaking out. I'm getting quite good at it."
"I noticed." Liam said. He reached into the shower and turned on the water. "I feel dirty from all the dust and travel today." Eva just nodded as he stripped off his clothes and got it the shower. "Get in here, Evie. What are you waiting for?"
"Just making sure I was invited." she said.
Liam laughed. "You never need an invite to get naked, Love. Trust me."

Eva's appointment for the wedding dress fitting was just after her math class. Marian and Dylan were in the same class, on purpose. Three brains were better than one. They picked up Emma from her history class and drove into downtown London. They approached the address and saw a buzzer. The door was locked. You had to be buzzed in! Dylan hit the buzzer. "Do you have an appointment?" a voice asked.
"Yes!" Dylan yelled. "Eva Stuart?"
"Who?" asked the voice.
"Liam Payne's bride?" Now Dylan we exasperated. "For god's sake. These people." she muttered.
"Come right it." The door buzzed and Eva pulled it open. A world of ruffles and whiteness greeted them. So much white. "Right this way, please. Have a seat." They were seated in an area meant to look like a living room, only where the TV would be, there was a small raised area and a three way mirror. Around this, there was a couch and two chairs. "Now, who is the bride?" The woman asked. The skinny woman, Eva thought. Skinny and mean looking. She wanted a normal person who was happy. She sighed and raised her hand. "Okay, I want some ideas first. Tell me about the dress you want."
Eva took a big breath. "No train. I'll trip. I want it to just hit the floor, maybe even a bit above. But, I do want a veil. And I want to come to my waist and come around my arms. And a tiara. That sparkles. Lots of sparkles. And purple flowers."
"Sleeves? No sleeves?"
"What would look best?" Eva asked. The woman made her stand on the little platform. She walked around Eva.
"Cap sleeves, off your shoulders, corset back. It will make your bust bigger and your waist look smaller. Also, we can shape the bottom into a...well, a V almost. In the front and back. It's will make you look taller. We can put a tulle bottom. And your purple flower? We can have a cascade of flowers down the front. Maybe on one side?" She drew a quick sketch. Eva nodded. "Okay, I think I have that top I can salvage from one dress and I know I have just the skirt. It will need to be shortened. Wait here."
"Well, I need to be taller, skinner and with bigger boobs. Why do people like this?" Eva moaned.
"Hey, you are getting an expert. The rest of us slugs have to buy off the rack." Marian said.
Eva just moaned again. Just then, Skinny came back. "I forgot about this dress. I was looking for tulle and I found this. Try it on! All of the white flowers can be changed, no problem."
Eva went into the dressing room with the saleslady. She made her strip to her underwear and step into the dress. She pulled it up and put the tiny, lacey sleeves over Eva's shoulders, then she started to pull on the corset. While she did that, Eva looked down at the skirt. It had a cascade of small white flowers down the left side of the dress and it was made a tulle. Skinny gave one last tug and said "There!" and pushed Eva out the door.
She walked out and all three girls gasped. Skinny pushed her up onto the stage and told her to look. She looked taller, skinny and with bigger boobs. "I am not ever taking this off!" Eva said. Skinny laughed. Eva thought that she might as well learn her name at some point. She obviously knew her stuff.
"Okay, stand still. Margaret!" Skinny called. Another woman appeared and she had pins and tape measures. They flew around Eva, pinning things, measuring things and making notes. "Okay, we just need a purple that you like. It should match the bridesmaids. Do they have dresses yet?" Eva shook her head. "Oh! Than you are in luck. I know just the dress and just the purple we need!" That was it. Eva was going to learn her name for sure.
