VAL'S SUIT IS WHEREVER THE MEDIA IS, BUT WITHOUT THE GRAY ON THE OUTSIDE...
Val POV

I really hope Brooklyn isn't mad at me because of what I did yesterday.

I mean she said she wasn't mad and we were still friends. But school's almost over and she hasn't said a word to me all day. She barely even looked at me, and when she did she looked all upset.

The bell rang ending eighth period. I ran to my locker and grabbed my backpack.

I've got to find Lynne.

I ran outside to the courtyard to see her surrounded by her friends. I grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the circle.

"Are you mad at me because of yesterday?"

She shook her head slightly.

"Lynne I'm sorry. I- I was just trying to protect you. I didn't mean to hurt you I swear."

She gave me a weak half smile and walked back over to her friends.

"VAL LET'S GO!" Maks yelled from downstairs.

"Don't you have college stuff to do? Why are you here? Go away."

Maks rolled his eyes and walked out of the house with me following.

We drove to he store making small talk about school and stuff.

"Do you know what color suit you want?" Maks asked.

"I'm thinking yellow.. I nice bright yellow."

Maks rolled his eyes and handed me a white suit with a black hem.

"Why a white suit?"

"Because you have to stand out for your senior prom brother."

"Fine brother."

I went into the dressing room and out it on. I stepped out side. Maks stood up and examined me.

"You like it?" He asked.

"I don't know I feel like it makes my butt look big."

"Now all we have to do is get shoes and we're good."

"I have shoes at home... I'm not comprehending why I have to buy shoes."

"Alright then let's just go home."

I can't wait until this dance is over. Maks and I decided on a plain black tux with a black button up shirt. We didn't get a tie because 'you're supposed to match your tie with your date's dress'.
