"Blaez what do you want?" I ask scooting away from him.
"I have always admired you and your pack." He says coming even closer to me. "But I have found an extreme liking to a certain member." He explains to me. He turns around so he is facing the door.
"What?!" I yell at him in confusion. "Why?! Who?!" I yell again.
"The little brown one, Kayla." He says, sounding super creepy and mysterious. He turns around again and faces me.
"Kayla has already found her mate. You can't change that." I say as I move closer to him.
"Oh yes I can." He says smartly. An evil smirk appears on his face. He stares me in my eyes.
"No, no you can't." I shutter. My eyes widen and I step slowly backwards.
"Oh yes, have you noticed Shurno acting strangely?" He asks, flicking his tail again.
"Yes." I say carefully and slowly. I stay low in case he does something. "What about it?" I demand.
"Well, those foxes. They severely injured him." He says, flicking his tail again. He starts to pace as if he's waiting.
"How do you know about the foxes?" I ask. He stops his pacing just to face me.
He leans in close and whispers in my ear, "Because I work with them." His voice is dark and evil. He leans back up and smirks, waiting for my reaction.
My eyes widen as I shake my head. "It's not true. Why?! Why would the foxes work for you?!" I scream at him. My face turns from confused to scared.
"That, that means you work for..." I gasp, unable to finish my sentence.
"Nyon." He finishes. He walks towards the guards, but turns around again. He walks back and forth numerous times.
I lay down on the cold, hard, den floor and whimper. I feel my eyes begin to water as Blaez' figure becomes watery.
A piercing howl of agony breaks the silence. My head shoots up as Blaez' ears perk up. I rush out of the den with at least 8 guards chasing me along with Blaez.
I raise my head and give my pack a warning howl. I quickly look behind me to see who is still following me, but to my surprise only Blaez is still on my tail. I redirect my attention to the front and weave through the loads of running wolves. As Blaez and I dash against the flow of wolves, I somehow manage to loose him.
"Miyla what's happening?" Asks a small and terrified voice from behind me. I whip around to find Kayla and Halo looking up at me. I turn around again to find fox sneaking up on us.
All the other wolves have either hid from the foxes or ran out of the territory. The area smells of fear. Fear, rogue wolves, and fox.
I look at the foxes and recognize them. They were there that night that we fought with them. They were there and now they want their revenge.
I turn quickly back around to find all my pack standing. The cold frost of the night nips at our noses. The brisk, frigid wind carries small clouds out if out panting mouths.
"We fight again." I say proud and determined. I look over to Kayla who has a bright and confident smile. "No one trust Blaez." I command.
I whip around to see there at least 50 more foxes in front of us. Their laughs and giggles fill air. Their feet kick up light snow that is falling.
"Fight your hardest. Aim for necks and hips. If we shall go down here," I pause and look at them before continuing. "We shall go down together!" I exclaim and receive howls and barks.
"Remember our formations." I say as I turn back around to face the foxes who seem to be multiplying by the second. Every 3 seconds or so, at least 7 more fox come out into the clearing. "Let's go!" I yell.
My pack and I rush towards the fox as the fox rush towards us. We all bash into each other like a river flowing over a rock. The hit from the collision knocks down at least 4 foxes. They stand right back up and pounce on us.
One grabs onto my scruff on my neck. His little teeth burry their way into my fur. I feel him being ripped off to see my pack protecting me.
The fox scrambles away. He makes his way back into the forest.
"Formation 4!" I call out. Instantly my pack gets into out Formation 4.
Shurno being the biggest is in the middle. He bulldozers over the foxes as we run. Tala on the left and Halo on the right. I run in between Shuno and Tala as Kayla runs in between Halo and Shurno. Me and Kayla's job is to kill the foxes when Shurno's job is to somewhat immobilize them. When I call out 'Switch' then Kayla and I switch out Halo and Tala. All though that we are running and tearing apart foxes.
We get into our formation and charge into the foxes. The fox get crushed by Shurno's large paws. His claws dig into them as he knocks them down. I tear apart a few foxes. I notice that Halo is getting pretty beat up.
"Spread out!" I call out. Everyone dashes off into different directions. Each of them having their own little crowd of foxes following them like paparazzi.
Once far enough away from each other then we all stop and fight off our own little group of foxes.
I spin around quickly throwing some foxes off guard. I count the foxes I have dragged away from the swarm and think about my next decision.
One comes pouncing at me right away, but I grab its neck and wrestle it to the ground. He whimpers and whines before he goes limp.
Another takes a swipe at my shoulder and makes me whimper. I give the fox a death glare and drag my claws from his shoulder to his ear in an instant. He falls to the ground and I rip out a piece of his throat making his eyes turn dead.
More come as the time passes. More injuries come as well. Many scars will be left in everyone's body who leaves this territory tonight.
I hear one coming from behind me and my ears rotate a bit. I kick him lightning fast in the throat and he flies back ten feet. He stares up at the sky before his chest falls for the last time.
I finally finish off my last fox by scratching from his eye down to his mouth. He whimpers, but I put him out of his misery quickly. He stands still as I grab his scruff with my top jaw and his fur covering esophagus with my bottom jaw. I shake my neck slight, but with enough force. I hear a loud snap and drop the limp, fox carcass.
All over the territory are fox bodies. Dead ones and barely breathing ones. Their whimpers scream through the air and flutter in my ears before I hear the crack of their neck. Or their throats being ripped out. Or their heart stopping because it was ripped out of their defenseless body.
I look around at the wolves who are standing over the carcasses. About 15 of Blaez' warriors joined the battle. Their faces are either stained with fox blood or drenched with their own blood.
"Miyla!" I hear Halo shriek from to my right. My head spins around so fast it felt like my neck could crack. I look at Halo who is laying down by a small, brown wolf body. It is barely breathing. I sniff the air and tears fill instantly in my eyes as I hear the whimper of a dying wolf. The snow around her is drenched with her blood.
My eyes widen as a whimper escapes my mouth and form as small cloud. "Kayla."
Ahhhhhhhh my gosh, writing this almost makes me want to break down into tears! I'm sorry for such a horrible chapter, but I am trying my best. I will update this story on Fridays and I may accept one more day of the week. The first to comment a different day except for Wednesdays and Fridays I might update on that day too. Thanks so much for reading I hope I didn't make you cry too much. And just a tip for you, when it snows in anime, which is like a cartoon but in Japanese and more intense, when it snows it most likely means a person or character will die. So keep that in mind when it snows in my books. Thanks again for reading and don't forget to comment which day you want me to update this story again. Thanks☺️.
