"So, how'd you like training with Robin girls?" Asks Halo as we meet them at the edge of the territory. We got our lunch for the day, but we were not allowed to take the prey that the hunters from Blaez' pack hunted. No, we had to find our own food, catch it, and kill it.

"It was good." Says Kayla in a cheerful voice. "We did have to run a lot and learn how to hunt, but it wasn't too bad." She looks at me and continues. "Guess who won in our races though?" She asks the pack.

"Who?" Asks Shurno a little more enthusiastic than usual. He is probably think in was Tala who won or Robin.

"Our Alpha!" Kayla howls with pride for my victory. "She won even against Robin." She says again. She begins to dance around me and howling with joy.

I feel the top of my ears get extremely hot as everyone from my pack stares at me and at least half of Blaez' pack who is eating outside stare at me too.

I look down as Kayla still leaps and trots around our pack. Her smile bring one to face as well. Shurno looks at me, but his gaze only makes me more embarrassed.

"Kayla, Sit down and eat your lunch." I say in a demanding and slightly paranoid growl.

"Okay." She says scared and quickly. She zooms to her spot and shoves her face into the squirrel that she caught. The sound of her eating the squirrel makes me happy.

I look around at my little pack to see smiling faces and full stomachs. Maybe a bit longer in the Eastern pack wouldn't kill us.

"What?" Tala asks with a bright smile as she feels my gaze upon her. Her eyes widen with curiously.

"Nothin." I say putting my muzzle up in refusal not to tell what is on my mind. Her bright hazel eyes seek answers on my face, but find none.

"Shurno?" I ask quietly so only my pack can hear.

He looks up, not noticing the strand of bunny guts all over his face.

I giggle and look away for him to get the clue. Tala and Kayla looks over as well and start to giggle. They whisper little thoughts about Shurno.

"Can I talk with you for a second?" I ask him once he has his face cleared up a bit. I can tell in his face that he is extremely embarrassed.

"Uh, yeah sure." He says as I walk away from my pack and into the forest surrounding us. He limps a bit, but he is trying not to show.

"Shurno, are you alright?" I ask when we are far enough away. I look around his body, but he gives me a warning growl.

"I'm fine." He snaps at me angrily. I flinch and look horrified at him. His stare becomes cold as he starts to head back to camp.

He disappears from the forest and into the clearing. His growl replays in my mind as I walk farther and farther from camp.

"Guess he doesn't know what's good in life." Says a laid back voice behind me.

I whip my head around and get into a fighting position. Just as Robin and Rusty taught me.

'Stay low and focused. Attack quickly and sharply.' Their words replay in my mind as I think about today's training.

"I was watching you in training, Love." He announces in a thick accent I didn't recognize. His coat is absolutely beautiful. His dark brown coat with white speckles all over his body almost explain that he is not from around here. He has a long white stripe going down his muzzle and running through his stomach.

"Who are you?" I ask, still staying low and ready to attack.

"Me?" He asks looking surprised. "I'm just a rouge who wants a prize, love." He smiles widely like the Cheshire Cat.

"Dude!" Another growl come from behind the rouge. "What the hell? Don't you know who she is?!" The bigger wolf growls at the rouge again.

"Of course I know, that is why I'm here." The rouge replies. The confidence in his voice make me shudder.

"You should listen to your pal there." I snarl at the rouge. His smile extends wider at my comment.

"Oh him?" The scrawny rouge says. "Nah, he's just a fellow rouge that I know." The other rouge flinches at this fake fact.

"Fine just finish up here and decide what to do with her. After all, she is a beauty." The bigger rouge says as he walks away.

"Well then." Says the rouge coming even closer to me.

"MIYLA!! MIYLA!!" Calls a familiar howl from back in the camp. Tala howls again and this time even louder and I can hear her coming closer.

"Bye." I say not waiting a second for his reaction. I take off into the woods from whence I came.

"Hey Bitch! Wait up!!" He calls beginning to run after me, but stops after about 10 feet. He's so out of shape. "I'll get her later."

I turn my head to watch him and snicker when he gets tired after running 10 feet.

I bump into something furry and fluffy. I tumble around until I smash right into a tree.

"Oof!" I grunt as I bash into the base of a big oak tree. Shake my head and look around. I almost burst out laughing when I notice that I ran right into Tala and Kayla.

"MIYLA!" Kaya shrieks as she dashes towards me. Not noticing all out the leaves, acorns, and little twigs on her. She attacks me and knocks me backwards.

She starts telling me never to do that again and how worried she was and all these other things. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

I look over at Tala as Kayla is still scolding me. I slightly shake my head and shrug my shoulders as Tala looks at me questionably.

"Okay, okay let's head back to camp." I say hauling Kayla off of me.

"There you three are!" Yells Blaez frantically as if he has been searching for us. He scrambles over to Tala, Kayla and I and sniffs us to make sure we aren't hurt. Like he would do anything if we were.

"We're fine Blaez. I just went for a walk and they came to get me." I say as he looks a me in doubt. I guess my half lie half truth didn't work.

"Miyla, will you follow me please?" He says firmly, but with enough grace to not be giving me an order.

"I need to meet with my pack." I say, declining his request.

"It wasn't a question." He says raising his eyebrows.

I look at Tala and Kayla and give them a small nod to return to Shurno and Halo.

I follow Blaez back into his den which is surrounded by guards. His den smells of female wolves and food.

"Guards!" Blaez yells, making me jump.

A tall, buff, black and white brindled wolf gracefully trots into the den. His eyes are dark brown almost black. His nails are long and sharp.

"Make sure no one comes in," He pauses and looks at me. "and no one comes out." He continues.

'What does he want from me?'
