I wake up an hour later or so. Above me was a thunderstorm, black wolf that has eyes like stars dancing throughout the night. His voice makes me cringe when he speaks. His Betas pick me up and are carrying me to their den. I was too weak to stand without help. My vision grew blurry. My heart began to sink when he came in. His coal-black coat is so dreamy.

His wolves set me down on on a rock. Although it wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked, but I fell asleep in no time.

When I wake up about 2 days later, the black wolf is not there. One if his Betas that carried me looked at me embarrassed and very nervous.

"I-I-I will go get Nixon. Umm..." He said while he was at the foot of the doorway. "I will be right back. Don't move."

"It's not like I can." I say quietly, but loud enough for him to hear. He looks back at me with an annoyance glare.

He comes back a few minute later with the black wolf. I could tell he was the alpha from how the other wolves treat him. He is not like my old pack's alpha though. He actually cares about his pack. All of his pack.

He trots over to me and lowers his head so we are even.

"How do you feel? What were you thinking? The woods are no place for beautiful, young wolf like yourself." He licks my paw and bows to me.

"I feel fine." I start to blush. "But where am I?" I ask as I look around the rather large den.

"You are at the westernmost pack of the forest. We found you in a patch of freezing moss." The black wolf walks to the door of the den.

"Where do you come from? I can tell you are not from around here." He says looking from my tail to the tip of my nose.

"You are very clever." I say trying to stand up, but utterly failing. "I am from the Northern pack. You could probably tell from my silky, golden brown coat." I accidentally stumble over my nails and bump into his broad chest. I look up into his crystal black eyes. He has a caring, yet creepy glare in his eyes.

I can feel my heart start throbbing. It starts to sink in my chest while my chest is squeezing the life out of me. My face starts to burn up. I'm scared that he will hear my heart skip a beat and push me away.

I slowly start walking back, but he doesn't let me. I stumble again and this time he catches me. I scamble to my feet. I back up quickly to the opposite side of the den. He starts to walk closer.

I am cornered, but he still is coming closer. I start to blush uncontrollably.

"I never got your name. Would you mind telling it to me, love?"His perfect, lovely British accent rang through my ears over and over again.

"M-M-Miyla." I studder quickly. Our noses were at least 2 claw lengths away.

"What a lovely name." He stops. Our noses are now 1 claw length away. His breath smells of blood. I can tell he doesn't have a mate and he is very picky trying to find one.

"What's wrong love?" He said. Cocking his head to the side while his shimmering, dark eyes dig deep into my heart.

"N-N-Nothing. I was just thinking that, uhhh..." I ran out of excuses. His shimmering eyes stared at me. His eyes had no emotion at all. They were dark and dead.

"I-I-I think I should be going now. Can you show me which way is south please." I looked back and forth around the den. I was peeping over his shoulder. He strong, muscular, sinister shoulder.

"Oh, please, Miss Miyla. We have good dens here. You could stay a while." He looked at me with a smirk.

"Oh no! I couldn't possibly-" I stopped to pick up my ears. I sense something is wrong. It is not like anything I've senced in awhile. I know the smell. I know it, but where? What does this smell belong to?

"What? What do you smell princess?" He looks at me like he actually cares what's out there.

And I finally remember what it was. I open my eyes and look at Nixon with a cold and fearful glare.

"If you care about this pack then you need to get everyone inside!" I say raising my voice. What a stupid thing to do. Raise my voice to an alpha of a pack.

"How do you know what's out there?"

"JUST DO IT!!"

He runs out of the den with his ears up and his tail high.

I remember the flashback of when I was a little pup. It was 7 years ago when I was just learning how to hunt with my siblings. We were out with my father and we all smelled something, but only my father realized what it was. He made us run, but not all of us were quick enough. We lost three of us that day. And our father.

"I have just rounded up all of the pack members into five dens. What do we do now?" He looks at me like I am the alpha.

"What is out there?"

I look at him with wide and cruel eyes. After a few moments of silence I say in deep and mysterious voice.

"It's humans!"

Sorry it took so long. You can thank lynnwill33 for that.
