Realisation

Taylor and travis had always had a good relationship well this is how it appeared to everyone else on the outside they looked like a perfectly normal couple but nobody knew the truth

Donna had been observing Taylor and travis's relationship as they were staying with them for the holidays . Call it mother's instinct but something didn't seem right to her Taylor had always been a bright bubbly girl but Taylor's demeanour changed dramatically .Donna had seen bruised on Taylor's arms and on her neck when she confronted Taylor and travis about the bruises Travis was quick to jump in and say they were hickeys and laugh it off saying that Travis got a bit carried away last night but something about it didn't seem right to Donna .
Donna decided to call kylie to see if she had noticed the shift in Taylor's behaviour as well
Donna : hello Kylie
Kylie : hi Donna what's going on
Donna : I was wondering if you noticed anything with Taylor
Kylie : she has been more reserved lately last week me and Jason invited her to over to see the girls but before she answered we heard Travis in the background yell at her that she wasn't allowed to go
Donna : do you think that he's hurting her I have seen bruises on her arms and neck but when I asked about it Travis jumped in to answer before she got a chance to say anything
Kylie : we need to talk to her the next time we see her we'll ask her to help us with something in another room and ask her there
Donna : ok I will text them now to invite them over for dinner tomorrow
Kylie : ok we will see you tomorrow

The next day
Taylor and Travis arrive and Donna welcomes them in
Donna : welcome guys Kylie and Jason should be here soon .
Travis : ok we'll be outside waiting . Travis grabs Taylor's arm and drags her outside Donna sees this and immediately calls Kylie
Donna : Kylie I think we were right to be suspicious
Kylie : why what happened
Donna : Taylor has more bruised on her arms that are badly covered with concealer and when they arrived and I told them the ye were on the way Travis said they were going to wait outside and when he grabbed her arm I saw her flinch away from him
Kylie : ok just keep watching to see if we are 100% sure
Donna : ok I will

After the phone call
Kylie and Jason arrive after Kylie had to explain everything to Jason in the car
Jason didn't want to believe it but when he started thinking about it he realised that everything Kylie was telling him he saw like how scared she seems to be around him all the time after realising it Jason agreed to help them

20 minutes later
Jason and Kylie arrive to the house and Travis and Taylor walk to the door to great them Jason and Kylie give each other a knowing look seeing how reserved Taylor is and the bruised littering her body that were badly covered by concealer

After everyone greeted each other they all walked to the deck outside when everyone was sat down they started talking
the whole time Donna and Kylie sent each other knowing looks

An hour later
Donna said she was going back inside to get food ready and Kylie said that she would help Donna asked if Taylor would get the table ready for food they all pretended not to notice Taylor giving Travis a look asking for permission to go when Travis gave her a slight nod she immediately jumped up and left to catch up with the other girls inside

Inside
Taylor asks Donna what their having to eat so she knows what has to be put out into the table while Taylor is talking to Donna Kylie locks the door without being noticed
Donna then turns to Kylie silently asking if now is the time to ask Taylor what has been going on when Kylie gives her a reassuring nod Donna begins to talk
Donna : Taylor is everything ok with you and Travis
Taylor's expression turns to panic before quickly returning the smile to her face saying
Taylor : everything's perfect
Donna : Taylor we know something is going on we're here to support you you can talk to us
Taylor's expression once again changes she glances around panicked about what to say before a few tears slip from her eyes which she quickly wipes away but not before Donna and Kylie noticed
Donna goes to hug Taylor but she flinched away which makes Donna and Kylie worried for her
Outside with Jason and Travis

Jason : so how are you and Taylor doing
Travis : great we have been spending a lot more time together because she's finished the tour
Jason : that's good how was the tour I know you went to some of the shows when you weren't at football
Jason and Travis continue their football talk but Jason notices that anytime Taylor is mentioned Travis gets defensive and tries to change the topic

Back to the girls
Donna : taylor we're here for you
Kylie : Taylor is Travis hurting you ?
Taylor just freezes
Kylie : Taylor we saw the bruises what is going on ?
Taylor just breaks down crying
Taylor : he's not hurting me he just gets angry sometimes it's no big deal
Donna : Taylor that's not ok we're here to help you
Taylor : I don't know what to do
Kylie : confront him we'll be right here to support you
Kylie and Donna both hug Taylor
The girls walk outside and Taylor asks Travis to talk inside Travis gets up and follows her inside they go to one of the rooms to talk
Outside
Donna and Kylie quickly explain what happened to Jason
Jason Donna and Kylie quickly go sit in the kitchen while waiting for Taylor and Travis to finish talking . They have been sitting their waiting for Taylor or Travis to walk out for an hour now eventually they get impatient waiting and decide to knock on the door
Donna : are ye ok in there ?
