Pranking the family

It was a cold winters Sunday afternoon at the Swift family home in Nashville. Taylor had invited her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, over for a family get-together. They had been dating for a few months, and this was the first time Travis was meeting Taylor's extended family.
As they sat together in the living room, sipping iced tea and chatting with Taylor's parents, an idea sparked in Taylor's mind. She nudged Travis and whispered, "How about we have a little fun with them?"
Travis raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What do you have in mind?"
"A hickey prank," Taylor said with a mischievous smile. "We can fake some hickeys and see how my family reacts."
Travis chuckled. "Alright, I'm in. Let's do it."
They excused themselves and headed upstairs to Taylor's room. Using some of Taylor's makeup, they carefully applied fake hickeys on each other's necks. Taylor's delicate touch created a convincingly uneven red and purple bruise on Travis's neck, while Travis's large hands, with surprising gentleness, mirrored the same on Taylor.
Once satisfied with their work, they returned to the living room, trying their best to act natural. Taylor's younger brother, Austin, was the first to notice. His eyes widened as he glanced at Taylor's neck.
"Uh, Tay... what's that on your neck?" Austin asked, pointing.
Taylor pretended to be flustered. "Oh, um, nothing. Just a little, uh, mark."
Travis looked away pretending to be embarrassed .
Taylor's mother, Andrea, glanced at Taylor and then at Travis, her eyebrows knitting together in confusion.
Before Andrea could finish her sentence, Taylor's father, Scott, let out a hearty laugh. "Well, I guess young love is quite the adventure, huh?"
The room fell into a mix of awkward chuckles and knowing smiles. Andrea, still processing, looked at Taylor with a mix of amusement and mild disapproval. "Taylor, really? At a family gathering?"
Taylor and Travis exchanged a quick, amused glance. They could barely hold back their laughter as the room buzzed with murmurs and giggles. Finally, Taylor decided it was time to reveal the prank.
"Okay, everyone, calm down," Taylor said, standing up. "It's just makeup. We thought it would be fun to pull a little prank on you all."
Travis nodded, pulling out a makeup remover wipe from his pocket. He wiped the fake hickey off his neck, and Taylor did the same.
The room erupted in laughter and playful jeers. "You got us good," Scott admitted, shaking his head.
Andrea sighed in relief, smiling. "You two are quite the pair. But next time, maybe a less shocking prank?"
Taylor and Travis laughed, feeling the warmth and acceptance of Taylor's family.
