was a quiet afternoon at home when Taylor began to feel the effects of her period. She was on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, watching TV with a slight frown on her face. Travis, ever attentive, noticed her mood and decided to lighten the atmosphere with his usual charm.
"Hey, you okay over there?" Travis asked, settling down next to her with a mischievous grin. Taylor looked up, her eyes a bit playful despite her discomfort. "Oh, I'm fine," she said, though her tone had a hint of irritation. "Just dealing with the joys of womanhood."
Travis, always ready for a bit of banter, leaned closer. "You know, I read that chocolate can cure almost anything," he said with a smirk. "Want me to get you some?"
Taylor raised an eyebrow and gave him a mock glare. "Hmm, really? How convenient that you've suddenly become an expert on chocolate therapy."
Travis chuckled and gave her a teasing nudge. "Hey, I'm just trying to help. Plus, I've heard it's the best way to deal with your mood swings."
Taylor's eyes widened in mock indignation. "Mood swings? Is that what you think I'm having? It's more like a full-blown storm over here."
Travis, not backing down, placed a hand on his chest in exaggerated shock. "Oh no, should I be worried for my safety? I might need to take cover."
Taylor laughed, her irritation melting away at his antics. "Just wait until I make you regret those comments. You'll be the one needing a refuge."
Despite her playful threats, she couldn't suppress her smile. Travis, seizing the moment, grabbed a couple of chocolate bars from the stash he had prepared earlier and handed them to her. "Here, chocolate for the stormy weather," he said, his grin widening.
Taylor accepted the chocolate with a grin of her own. "Thanks, I guess I'll allow you to stay out of the doghouse for now."
Travis playfully saluted her. "Anything to stay in your good graces. I've learned that peace treaties are the way to go."
As they continued their playful banter, the light-hearted teasing became a balm for her discomfort, and they spent the rest of the afternoon in good spirits, the mood lifted by their shared humor and Travis's thoughtful gestures.
