I have two more almost done I just have to do an ending for them so they should be out tonight !!It had been a busy couple of weeks for Travis Kelce. Between game days, press events, and the whirlwind of his personal life, he hadn't had a moment to catch his breath. But finally, he found himself with a rare night off, and the only person he wanted to spend it with was Taylor. They'd agreed on a low-key evening: takeout, a cozy blanket, and a Disney movie marathon. Travis had been on board, mostly because he figured it meant they'd watch The Lion King or Toy Story. He hadn't expected Taylor to choose Frozen.
"You've never seen Frozen?" she'd asked in mock horror when he admitted it.
"What can I say? I missed out," he replied, chuckling, shrugging it off like the big, tough football player he was. But secretly, he loved how excited she got over sharing something with him.
So there they were, curled up on his couch, half-covered by a massive Chiefs blanket, with Taylor reciting almost every word from memory while Travis did his best to follow along. He kept sneaking glances at her, unable to hide his grin every time she sang along, especially during "Let It Go."
Unbeknownst to him, his family had been planning a little surprise visit that evening. His mom had talked Jason into tagging along, and they'd brought some groceries, figuring Travis could probably use a good home-cooked meal. His house wasn't far, and with the Chiefs in the middle of their season, they'd assumed he'd be at home, probably watching game tapes or resting.
When they got to his door, his mom fished out the spare key he'd given her long ago. "Let's not bother him with the doorbell," she whispered to Jason with a mischievous grin. "We'll just surprise him."
They crept into the house, tiptoeing through the entryway with bags in hand. Jason was halfway to calling out when they heard something that stopped them in their tracks—a loud, unmistakable voice belting, "Let it go, let it go!"
Jason shot his mom a look, both of them bewildered. "Is that... Frozen?" Jason whispered, brow furrowing.
They moved down the hallway, the voices growing clearer. And then, as they rounded the corner into the living room, they froze at the sight before them. There was Travis, the towering tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs, singing along to Frozen with none other than Taylor Swift beside him, both of them completely absorbed in the movie.
Taylor was waving her arms dramatically, mimicking Elsa's movements, and Travis, caught up in her energy, was mouthing the words, albeit clumsily, and laughing each time he got them wrong. He looked more relaxed than they'd ever seen him, completely wrapped up in the moment.
The two had no idea they were being watched, and Taylor was laughing so hard that she missed the approaching footsteps. But just as the song faded, Travis turned his head and nearly jumped off the couch, eyes widening in surprise. Taylor followed his gaze, her laughter freezing mid-giggle as she saw his mom and Jason standing there, mouths open.
"Mom? Jase?" Travis stammered, quickly pulling the blanket off his lap as if it would somehow make things less awkward.
Jason's eyes darted between Travis and Taylor, trying to process what he was seeing. "Uh, are we interrupting something?"
His mom's hand flew to her mouth, eyes wide but twinkling with amusement as she looked at Taylor, then back at Travis. "Travis, honey... is there something you forgot to mention?"
Travis looked helplessly at Taylor, who gave him an encouraging nudge. "Uh... surprise?" he offered weakly, shrugging with a sheepish grin.
Jason burst into laughter, slapping his knee. "Oh, this is priceless. Mr. Tough Guy watching Frozen with Taylor Swift on his couch. And you didn't think to tell us?"
Travis rolled his eyes, trying to play it cool, but the blush on his cheeks was undeniable. "Look, it just... it just kinda happened, okay?"
Taylor chuckled softly, giving his hand a gentle squeeze before turning to his family with a warm smile. "Hi, Mrs. Kelce. Hi, Jason. Sorry about the surprise," she said, sounding both amused and slightly embarrassed.
Their mom stepped forward, recovering from her shock with a warm, genuine smile as she extended her hand. "Taylor, it's so lovely to finally meet you. Though, I must say, I didn't expect... well, this."
Taylor laughed, shaking her hand. "I didn't expect to meet you like this, either, but here we are. And, honestly, Frozen was his idea." She winked at Travis, clearly enjoying his discomfort.
Travis gave her a look, crossing his arms in mock offense. "Oh, that's how you're playing this? Really?"
Jason, still grinning, crossed his arms, taking in the scene with obvious satisfaction. "So, how long's this been going on?"
Travis scratched the back of his neck, glancing at Taylor, who shrugged with a playful smile, leaving him to do the explaining. "A few months, actually. We were planning to tell you, but... well, you kinda sped up the timeline here."
Jason raised an eyebrow, unable to resist one last jab. "Guess she had you wrapped around her finger if you're sitting here watching Disney movies."
Travis finally let out a laugh, throwing a pillow in Jason's direction. "Alright, alright, I get it. Laugh it up. But, come on, you'd sit here and watch it, too, if Taylor Swift was the one asking."
Their mom laughed, eyes softening as she looked at her son. "Well, if she's got you singing along to Disney songs, she must be good for you."
Travis beamed, looking down at Taylor with a genuine, affectionate smile. "Yeah, she really is."
