It was a sunny afternoon, and Taylor's manager, Tree, was in the studio with her, discussing the upcoming tour schedule. Travis had just stopped by to drop off some documents. As he walked in, Taylor and Tree exchanged a knowing glance, their expressions shifting as they noticed the hickey on Taylor's neck—a lingering mark from their earlier, more private moment.
Taylor's face flushed slightly, but she quickly composed herself, ready to play along with the fun. "Hey, Travis!" she called out, trying to sound casual. "We need to talk about this." She pointed to the hickey, her tone a mix of amusement and mock severity.
Tree, ever the partner in crime, grinned mischievously. "Oh, this should be good," he said, leaning back in his chair with an air of authority.
Travis, taken aback, looked between Taylor and Tree, realizing he was caught in a playful trap. "What's going on?" he asked, trying to keep a straight face.
Taylor crossed her arms and adopted a serious expression. "Travis, you've left a rather conspicuous mark here," she said, gesturing to her neck. "And Tree here thinks it's our responsibility to address it."
Tree nodded solemnly. "Indeed. As Taylor's manager, it's my job to ensure that she's not only professionally polished but also free of embarrassing marks. And you, my friend, have not done your job well."
Travis's cheeks turned red as he tried to explain. "I didn't mean for it to be so noticeable. I just—"
Tree cut him off with a smirk. "Just? I think this calls for some serious groveling. You're going to have to make amends for this little indiscretion."
Taylor joined in the teasing. "Yes, Travis. For the next week, you're on official apology duty. We're talking breakfast in bed, surprise gifts, and absolutely no complaints about the requests you'll be receiving."
Travis groaned dramatically, but his smile betrayed his enjoyment of the playful teasing. "Alright, alright. I get it. I'll make it up to both of you. Just—please don't make me the subject of every joke for the next month."
Tree chuckled and gave Travis a mock salute. "Deal. But you'd better make sure your efforts are up to par. We're watching."
As the three of them laughed and joked about the situation, the lighthearted banter turned a potentially awkward moment into an opportunity for fun and camaraderie. Travis took his playful punishment in stride, happy to be part of the inside joke and enjoying the playful dynamic with Taylor and Tree.
