The dim lights of the club blurred into a kaleidoscope of colors as Taylor Swift took another sip of her cocktail, giggling with her friends around the table. She hadn't intended to get this tipsy, but the night had a way of sweeping her off her feet. The DJ played her favorite song, and she couldn't help but sway to the rhythm, her thoughts drifting to Travis Kelce.
As the night wore on, Taylor found herself scrolling through her phone, her intoxicated mind zeroing in on Travis's contact. Before she could second-guess herself, she pressed the call button, her heart fluttering with a mix of excitement and nervousness.
On the other end, Travis was just settling into bed when his phone buzzed on the nightstand. He glanced at the screen and saw Taylor's name, a smile spreading across his face as he answered. "Hey, Taylor."
"Traviiiiis!" Taylor's voice was a high-pitched sing-song, the alcohol clearly having an effect. "Guess what?"
Travis chuckled, sitting up and leaning against the headboard. "What?"
"I miss you," she declared, her words slightly slurred but filled with genuine affection.
His heart melted a little at her confession. "I miss you too, Tay. Are you having fun?"
"Yesss," she drawled, giggling. "But it would be more fun if you were here. Everyone is asking about you!"
"Is that so?" Travis grinned, imagining her surrounded by curious friends and fans. "What are you telling them?"
"That you're the best," she said without hesitation. "And that you're my favorite person."
He could hear the sincerity in her voice, despite the drunken haze. "You're my favorite person too, Taylor."
There was a brief pause, and he could hear the faint sounds of the club in the background. "Travis, can I tell you something?"
"Of course."
"I love you," she said softly, the words tumbling out in a rush. "Like, really love you."
Travis felt his chest tighten with emotion. He had known how he felt about her for a while, but hearing her say it, even in her tipsy state, made his heart soar. "I love you too, Taylor. So much."
A squeal of delight came through the phone, and he could almost see her beaming face. "Really?"
"Really," he affirmed, his voice warm and steady. "Now, how about you let me come pick you up? I think it's time we got you home."
"Okay," she agreed, her tone suddenly sleepy. "But only if you promise to cuddle."
He laughed, the sound full of affection. "I promise. Text me the address, and I'll be there soon."
As he hung up and grabbed his keys, Travis couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected call. Taylor had a way of brightening his world, and he was more than happy to be the one to take care of her, no matter the circumstances.
When he arrived at the club, he spotted her immediately, her blonde hair catching the light as she waited outside with her friends. She broke into a wide smile when she saw him, stumbling a little as she rushed into his arms.
"You came," she murmured, nuzzling into his chest.
"I always will," he replied, holding her close. "Let's get you home, love."
In the car, Taylor leaned her head on his shoulder, her eyes fluttering shut. "You're the best, Travis."
He kissed the top of her head, his heart full. "And you're my everything, Taylor."
As they drove through the quiet streets, Travis couldn't help but feel that this was just the beginning of many more nights where they'd share their lives, their love, and everything in between.
