The warm glow of the evening lamp was casting a soft light over the room as Kashi was still trying to find some comfort after the day's revelations. Kashi and Veer (Vishwanath) sat together, the atmosphere filled with a quiet intimacy. Anjali had retired to her room to rest, leaving them in this serene moment.

As Kashi adjusted her position, her eyes fell on a dark bruise marring Veer's hand. She gasped, reaching out instinctively. "Veer ji, yeh kya hua? Aapko chot lagi hai!"("Veer ji, what happened? Are you hurt?") Her voice was filled with panic and concern.

Veer quickly tried to hide his hand, but Kashi grabbed it gently, her fingers tracing the outline of the bruise. "Yeh kaise hua? Aapne mujhe bataya kyun nahi?"(How did this happen? And why didn't you tell me?) Her tone shifted from worry to a soft scold.

Vishwanath chuckled lightly, trying to downplay the situation. "Kuch nahi, Kashi. Bas choti si chot hai. Tum iski chinta mat karo."(It's nothing, Kashi. Just a small injury. Don't worry about it.)

Kashi shook her head, her eyes narrowing slightly as she continued to hold his hand. "Veer ji, aapko apna khayal rakhna chahiye na . Kitni baar kaha hai, itne careless mat raho."(Veer ji, you should take care of yourself. I have told you so many times, don't be so careless.")

Vishwanath felt a warmth spread through him at her concern. He smiled, though his eyes were tender with unspoken emotions. "Kashi, main theek hoon. Abhi tumhara khayal rakhna mere liye zyada zaroori hai."(Kashi, I am fine. Right now taking care of you is my priority.)

Ignoring his reassurances, Kashi carefully began to check the bruise."Aap sab ka khayal rakhte hai Veer ji sivaye khud ke".(You always take care of others, Veer ji except yourself )". Kashi said with narrowed eyes and a sad pout forming on her face.

Vishwanath watched her, his heart swelling with affection. Her touch was soft, and her scolding, though gentle, was filled with genuine care. He found himself lost in the moment, the simple intimacy of it all. "Tum ho na, Kashi. Tum mera khayal rakh sakti ho."("You are here, Kashi. You can take care of me.) Vishwanath said with an amused smile on his face.

Kashi looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of surprise and tenderness. Mein toh hu hi par apko bhi apna dhyaan rakhna hoga ( "I will be there Always. But you will also have to take care of yourself.")

"Mujhe Promise Kijiye Veer ji ki aap apna dhyaan rakhe ge" ( Promise me Veer ji that you'll always take care of yourself) Kashi said with a determined Voice.

Veer's gaze Softened. He reached out, gently brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "Kashi mein tumhe promise karta hu ki mein tumhara humesha dhyaan rakhuga" (Kashi I promise I will always take care of you).

Aree mera nahi, Apna dhyaan rakhenge!"(Not me, Veer ji. Take care of yourself)," she insisted, her voice filled with slight frustration.

Vishwanath chuckled, making Kashi even more angry.

"Jaiye! Mujhe apse baat hi nahi karni".
(Just go! I don't want to talk to you)
She turned her face to the other side crossing her arms , anger and frustration evident on her face.

Veer's expression softened further, he gently held her chin and turned her to his side and said. "I promise," he replied sincerely, his eyes never leaving hers. "I'll take care of myself for you."

Kashi looked into Veer's eyes, her own reflecting a mixture of concern and admiration. Their silent connection was abruptly broken when her hand accidentally brushed against his, causing him to wince in pain. Vishwanath quickly withdrew his hand, breaking their eye lock.

"You're hurt!" Kashi exclaimed, concern filling her voice.

She tried to get up to fetch the first aid box, but Veer's firm grip on her arm stopped her.

"Don't get up, Kashi," he scolded gently. "You shouldn't put stress on your foot."

Kashi paused, looking at him with a mix of worry and determination.

"But Veer ji, your hand.... I need to take care of your wound first." Kashi said

"I'm fine," he insisted, his voice softening. "It's more important for you to rest.

Kashi's eyes filled with unshed tears. She hated seeing him in pain and feeling helpless to aid him. Yet, she knew he was right. Her foot was still healing, and she couldn't risk worsening it.

"Why do you always worry about me so much, Veer ji ?" Kashi asked softly, her voice trembling.

Vishwanath's expression softened further as he gently cupped her face with his uninjured hand.

Because you mean everything to me, Kashi," Vishwanath thought in his mind but didn't said it aloud.

"Taking care of you is my duty Kashi. You and Aunty are my responsibility and I will do anything for both of you" he replied, his voice filled with warmth and sincerity.

Tears finally spilled from Kashi's eyes, and she leaned into his touch. The moment was tender, filled with unspoken emotions and a deep connection that bound them together.

Vishwanath wiped her tears away, his thumb gently brushing her cheek. "There's no need to cry, Kashi," he said softly. Kashi wiped away the remaining tears when her eyes again fell on the bruises on Veer's hand.

" Veer ji, can you please get me the first aid box , it is kept in that drawer!

I'm fine Kashi, Vishwanath again tried reasoning.

Veer ji please bring me the first aid box, otherwise I will get it myself, saying this she again started to get up but vishwanath stopped her.

Ok ok wait I'm getting it. Viswanath said finally giving up.

Her fingers traced the outline of the darkened skin as she gently dabbed the cotton laced with antiseptic on the bruise, worry etched across her face. "Does it hurt a lot, Veer ji?" she asked softly, her voice trembling with concern.

Vishwanath looked at her, a tender smile playing on his lips. "Kashi, this is just a small bruise. Your touch alone can make it go away."

Kashi paused, her fingers still on his hand, and looked up at him with wide, searching eyes. "How can you be so sure?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Because you don't just heal my wounds, Kashi. You heal me. You are my healer." Vishwanath said softly with a smile.

A blush spread across Kashi's cheeks, her heart pounding at his words. She felt a mix of emotions-gratitude, tenderness, and something deeper that she was just beginning to understand.

Kashi's hands moved with a delicate precision as she gently wrapped the bandage around his bruised hand. Her touch was light, but it conveyed a deep care that made Vishwanath's heart swell with affection. Each turn of the bandage was accompanied by a soft murmur of concern, her eyes never leaving his wound.

As she worked, Veer watched her intently. The way she furrowed her brow in concentration, the tender way she handled his injury-it was a side of Kashi that made him realize just how much she cared for him. It wasn't just the physical pain she was trying to soothe; it was his very being she was tending and healing to. "She is indeed his Healer".
