The early morning rays streamed through the curtains of the room, casting a golden hue on the soft, warm bed. Kashi stirred gently, slowly opening her eyes. Her body, still cocooned in the comforting warmth of her dreams, sought the familiar embrace of her Veer ji. She stretched out her arms to find him but met only the soft, empty sheets beside her. Confused, her eyes fluttered open fully as she blinked against the morning light.

Where had he gone?

The bed was carefully tucked in, a sign that he had been thoughtful enough not to disturb her. Kashi sat up slowly, brushing her hair away from her face as she surveyed the room. The bathroom door was ajar, and the dressing room was eerily silent. A frown creased her forehead.

"It's still early," she thought, glancing at the clock on the wall. 7:45 AM.

Determined to find him, Kashi slipped out of bed, her bare feet meeting the cool, polished surface of the marble floor with a soft touch. The quiet serenity of the room wrapped around her, but her mind was set. She turned to the bed, her hands instinctively smoothing the comforter, adjusting it meticulously until it looked perfectly arranged.

Her feet carried her to the dressing room, where a treasure trove of exquisite clothes awaited. She approached it, her fingers hovering over the array of fabrics, each one more breathtaking than the last. Her eyes landed on a soft pink saree, its delicate hue reminding her of cherry blossoms in full bloom. The fabric shimmered faintly under the soft light, adorned with intricate embroidery that whispered elegance and grace.

With practiced movements, she unfolded the saree, feeling the smooth, luxurious fabric glide through her hands. Standing before the tall mirror, she began draping it around her slender frame, each pleat meticulously adjusted to perfection. The saree hugged her figure delicately, the pastel shade amplifying the warm glow of her radiant skin. She secured the pleats at her waist, allowing the pallu to cascade down gracefully over her shoulder like a flowing stream. The intricate embroidery caught the light, adding a touch of regal splendor to her appearance, making her look every bit the queen she was destined to be.

After completing her routine, she made her way downstairs, to search for her Veer ji. The mansion was quiet except for the faint sounds of conversation coming from the living room. She stepped lightly, her saree swishing softly as she descended the grand staircase.

In the living room, Rudra was pacing, looking frustrated. "Maa, have you seen my assignment? I don't remember where I kept it, and today's the last day for submission" Rudra cried.

Shalini, ever composed, scolded him lightly, "Rudra, you are always so careless. Why do you leave things lying around?" She then called out to one of the helpers, instructing them to fetch the file from her room. When the helper returned, Shalini handed the file to Rudra with a disapproving look. "You left it in the living room. Next time, keep your things in order."
