That night at the Singhania Mansion, Shalini and Aradhya were on their way to check on Anjali. Aradhya hadn't yet had the chance to meet Kashi's mother, as her day had been unusually busy. After the youngsters had left for the farmhouse, she had spent some time with Shalini and Rajendra, and later she and her husband, Maan, visited an old orphanage to donate money and blankets for the approaching winter. Now, at night, she accompanied Shalini, who wanted to ensure that Anjali was comfortable and had everything she might need.
As they walked and talked quietly, Aradhya's phone rang. Glancing at it, she saw an urgent call concerning her royal duties in Jaisalmer. "Excuse me for a moment, Shalini. You go ahead, I will join you back shortly" she said softly. Shalini nodded understandingly and continued towards Anjali's room.
As she reached the room, she saw Anjali fast asleep. Shalini didn't disturb her, she switched off the bedside light and quietly closed the door behind her.
On her way back, Shalini met Aradhya, who had returned from her call. "Why are you back so soon, Shalini?" Aradhya asked.
"I just checked on Anjali ji, didi. She's asleep now. Shalini replied with a gentle smile. "You can meet her tomorrow " Shalini added.
Ohhh, a soft sigh escaped Aradhya's lips as she nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, it's really late now. Let's sleep. I will surely meet Anjali ji tomorrow. She's staying here, but I still haven't met her."
"It's okay, didi. You can meet her tomorrow. Anjali ji is a really sweet lady," Shalini said kindly.
Aradhya smiled, her eyes soft. "I can see that. Our Kashi is so sweet and gentle. how could her mother not be?"
And just like that, the two ladies walked back together, chatting quietly as they headed toward their respective rooms.
And so, as if fate itself were playing with them, a quiet game of hide-and-seek, the meeting that seemed destined for tonight slipped away, lingering for the perfect moment to reveal itself. Was there something special waiting to unfold in their meeting?

The first rays of the early winter sun filtered gently through the curtains, spilling a soft golden glow across the room. But Kashi wasn't ready to greet the morning yet. Her head throbbed painfully as she stirred under the blanket, the remnants of last night's tipsy adventures making themselves known.
With a faint groan, she pressed her hands against her temples, hoping the ache would ease. She tried sitting up, but the moment she moved, her head spun violently, and she fell back onto the pillow with a defeated sigh.
"Careful," a calm voice came from beside her.
A familiar hand steadied her shoulders, warm and comforting, making her blink through the haze. It was Vishwanath. He adjusted the pillow behind her back and helped her sit properly, his movements careful, and brimming with care.
"Better?" he asked softly, his deep voice wrapping around her like solace.
Kashi gave a faint shake of her head. "My head hurts a lot, Veer ji" she murmured, her voice weak.
"It's the after-effect. Come on, drink this. It will help."
He shifted closer, sitting beside her and gently resting his one arm on her shoulders, offering support to her frail frame. As she turned her head, her long lashes fluttered against her flushed cheeks, and her gaze fell on the glass of pale, freshly squeezed lemonade he held. His other hand remained steady on her shoulder, anchoring her, while his eyes glowed with warmth, lips curved in a faint, reassuring smile.
