In the car, Kashi nervously dialed Vishwanath's number again, her fingers trembling slightly. "Please pick up, Veer ji please" she whispered under her breath. But once again, the call went unanswered. A lump formed in her throat. Her heart thudded with anxiety as she tried Rajendra Papa's number next. Still no response.
Rudra, noticing the unease on her face, immediately took out his phone and tried calling Raghav. When even that went unanswered, he dialed Vivek, Vishwanath's assistant, but no luck as even he didn't pick up.
A silence, heavy and anxious, filled the air of the sleek car. Rudra clenched the steering wheel tighter and pressed the accelerator. Thankfully, his quick driving skills came in handy, and within no time, they reached the towering heart of the Singhania Empire.
As Kashi stepped out of Rudra's stylish, matte-black sports car, her breath caught in her throat. Before her stood The headquarters of the Singhania Empire, not just a building, but a living, breathing monument to legacy, power, and perfection. Acres of architecture and design sprawled in symmetry, but it was the towering glass skyscraper that caught her eyes. It shimmered under the morning sun like a diamond, a gigantic S logo proudly displayed across its front, with a crown carved delicately into the first curve of the letter, a symbol of power and royalty.
Before she could marvel further, Rudra's voice gently pulled her back to the present.
"Let's go, bhabhi."
Snapping out of her awe, Kashi turned to him and gave a small nod, but then paused, concern flickering in her eyes. "Rudra, you are getting late for your college. You should go now."
But Rudra shook his head with a soft smile. "Don't worry, bhabhi. My first class is off today, and there's still a little time left before the second begins. Let me take you to bhaiya first. Then i will leave."
Kashi nodded, her hand holding tightly onto the file of her precious designs, and both of them moved inside.
As they approached, the guards at the entrance, recognizing Rudra and their boss's wife, immediately stood straight and saluted. The glass doors opened swiftly. Employees, noticing their CEO's younger brother and the Queen of Bundelkhand herself, stood up in respect, a mix of awe and surprise lighting their faces.
It wasn't every day that they got to witness Kashi Rai Singhania, the enigmatic yet graceful wife of the most powerful man they knew. She looked effortlessly elegant today in her red Anarkali suit, her open hair cascading down her shoulders, and the simplicity on her face glowing with natural beauty. The innocence in her eyes charmed nearly every employee passing by.
Whispers began circulating through the modern corridors lined with glass offices and sleek wooden panels.
"That's her....Kashi Rai Singhania...."
"The queen of Bundelkhand...."
"She's even more beautiful in real life"
As they walked past the stunned employees, Kashi offered a small, shy smile. Her steps were hesitant, and her heart raced under the weight of so many eyes on her. Though visibly nervous from the sudden attention, she tried her best to compose herself. Her grip tightened on the file, as if anchoring herself in the unfamiliar opulence around her.
