Here goes the part 2 as promised ☺️
_________________________________________Pandit Ji then instructed the couple to seek blessings from the elders. Ravi with a proud smirk on his face, stepped forward and extended his hand towards Kashi.
"Kashi, come," he commanded, his voice laced with arrogance. "Take your father's blessings".
But Kashi didn't move. She stood frozen, her face pale with dried tears, her body rigid, and her eyes devoid of any emotion. Her gaze on Ravi was hollow, as though staring at a complete stranger. And perhaps, he was. For her, the man before her had ceased to exist the moment he sold her dignity, her trust, and her love for some wealth and convenience to a man like Neel Oberoi.
Ravi's smirk grew wider, but it was filled with mockery rather than affection. "What's this? My sweet daughter is angry with her papa?" he taunted, his voice dripping with malice. "You know what, Kashi? I couldn't care less. You were nothing but a burden on me and my life. Today, I feel lighter. Freed. You and your dying mother were nothing but shackles I was forced to carry. You both are worthless. To be honest, I don't care if you both die....."
Before the venomous words could escape his lips further, a sharp, resounding smack echoed through the hall. The force of the blow sent Ravi two steps back, his cheek red and stinging. Gasps filled the room.
Kashi stood paralyzed as she realized what had happened. Her wide eyes flicked to the man standing tall and imposing next to her.
"Enough," Vishwanath's voice rang out, low and thunderous, commanding the attention of the entire room. "You have said and done enough, Ravi Sharma. One more word against Kashi or her mother and I will wipe your useless existence from this world".
Ravi, still stunned, stumbled on his feet. Fear crept into his features, but his cunning instincts quickly took over. "N..Neel ji?" he stuttered. "What happened? Why are you....."
But his tongue caught mid-sentence as the man in front of him raised his sehra entirely.
Vishwanath's movements were deliberate, slow, and commanding as he unveiled his face, revealing all its majestic fury. The air grew heavy as everyone in the room, including Kashi, stared in stunned silence.
Kashi's breath hitched. She stared at Vishwanath, her wide, tear-filled eyes reflecting a whirlwind of emotions. Her mind struggled to process the revelation, her lips trembling as she whispered, "Veer ji....?" Her voice was barely audible, but it carried the weight of her disbelief, relief, and hope. Though Kashi had already recognized the familiarity in his voice, the confirmation that it was indeed her Veer ji felt like a balm to her broken heart. It was as if the pieces of her shattered world were slowly beginning to realign.
As the remaining guards of Neel saw Vishwanath, they immediately tried to attack him. However, they were swiftly overpowered by Vishwanath's men, their movements precise and lethal, leaving the attackers no chance. The defeated guards were forced to bow to the King, a stark reminder of Vishwanath's unmatched power and authority.
"Vishwanath?" Ravi whispered, his voice cracking. "You? Where is Neel? What's going on......" His voice faltered as he tried to piece together the unfolding events.
Ravi, felt his bravado crumble. His words faltered as Vishwanath took a threatening step forward, his presence commanding the room. "How dare you, Ravi, to stoop so low as to threaten Kashi's mother's life just to manipulate her? " Vishwanath growled, his voice sharp and cold as steel.
Though fear was evident in Ravi's trembling form, he tried one last desperate attempt to regain control. "You think you have won, Vishwanath Rai Singhania?" he sneered, his voice shaking. "You can't do anything to me. Remember, her mother is still in danger, and everything is still under my control."
