Guys, I know, I know you must be wondering why this author has been so inconsistent with updates lately. Tbh, October has been one of the toughest months for me this year. I felt lost, sad, and demotivated for no clear reason. I don't usually overthink, but last month it felt like everything just came crashing down all at once.
I also hit a pretty bad writer's block and didn't feel like writing at all. But thankfully, just like this new month, I've gathered myself back up again🌷
And here I am finally back with a new update! This time, I will be more consistent since I have started writing in advance. Thank you all so much for your constant love, patience, and support. It truly means alot to me🫶🏻💗

The morning sun bathed the Singhania Mansion in a soft, golden glow. The air was calm, yet heavy with anticipation as though even the wind held its breath, waiting for the moment about to unfold.
A sleek black car, followed by a convoy of security vehicles, came to a halt at the grand entrance. The guard hurried forward to open the gate. Rajbir Bundela stepped out slowly, followed closely by Kalyani Bundela. Their eyes wandered over the mansion vast, serene, and alive yet their hearts pounded with nervousness.
The Singhania security had already informed the family of their arrival. As they entered, every member of the Singhania household rose to their feet, surprised to see Rajbir Bundela himself standing there. Greetings were exchanged, but the air was thick with emotion rather than formality.
Kashi rushed forward, her dupatta fluttering in the light breeze. "Nani, Nanu....please come," she said softly, her voice trembling with emotion.
Rajbir's eyes softened as they fell upon her, those same eyes that had once watched his little Anjali run across their haveli, giggling.
"Where is she, beta (child) ? We want to meet Anjali first," Kalyani asked, her voice already thick with tears as she gently caressed Kashi's cheek.
A faint smile touched Kashi's lips as she understood the yearning in a parent's heart to see their daughter after decades. Composing herself, she whispered softly, "Maa is in the garden, Nani."
Vishwanath, who stood a few steps away, said gently, "Go on, Kashi. Take them to Anjali Maa."
Kashi looked at him, his reassuring smile steadied her heart. She nodded and led them outside, down the stone pathway lined with jasmine flowers. The scent mingled with the morning dew, wrapping the air in a quiet sanctity. Rajbir and Kalyani followed, their hearts racing, their breaths uneven.
They stopped at a distance and there, at the far end of the garden, beneath the flowering neem tree, sat Anjali. Frail yet peaceful, the morning sun kissed her pale cheeks as a soft breeze played with her loose strands of hair. A nurse stood beside her, but in that moment, it felt as if time itself had stilled, waiting for a family long torn apart to find its way back together.
Anjali didn't hear the approaching footsteps until Kashi whispered gently, "Maa....."
Anjali looked up. She smiled when she saw Kashi, but the smile froze as her eyes shifted to the figures behind her,
Rajbir and Kalyani. Her parents she hadn't seen in twenty-two long years. She froze completely. Kashi quietly signalled the nurse to leave them alone, stepping back to give them time and space.
"Maa...? Papa...?" Anjali's voice broke, disbelief and longing entwined in a single breath. Her parents had aged, their hair now streaked with silver, yet their grace and presence remained unmistakable and unshaken by time.
Kalyani's lips trembled. "Anjali..." she whispered, her eyes flooding with tears.
And in the next heartbeat, both mother and daughter broke down. Kalyani rushed forward and pulled Anjali into her arms as tears streamed freely. Anjali clung to her mother, still seated, sobbing uncontrollably, her tears soaking into the folds of Kalyani's saree.
