Vishwanath Rai Singhania, known as Veer in his current disguise, had been working undercover for several days at the textile factory. Each day, he observed the workers, reviewed documents, and spoke with employees, all while maintaining his disguise.Only Kashi knew the truth about his investigation. He had spent countless days and sleepless nights trying to uncover the fraud that had been draining his company from within, and all the signs now pointed towards an insider's involvement.

One evening, after the factory had closed and the workers had gone home, Vishwanath remained behind, stationed at his small office in the building. The air was still, but there was an occasional creak of the old wooden ceiling fan. The room was dim, lit only by the soft yellow glow of a desk lamp that cast long, flickering shadows across the walls.

He examined a bundle of financial records and employee logs. That's when a particular stack of documents caught his eye. Something about them felt off. As he flipped through the pages, alarm bells rang in his head. The formatting was inconsistent, the signatures and several figures looked forged. These looked fake. And worse, if these were fake, it meant the original documents were missing. His heart began to race with anticipation. More importantly, only Vishwanath himself and a handful of top officials knew the exact amount that had been allocated to the textile unit. No one else was aware of the real figures, which is why the fraud had gone undetected until now. On paper, everything had looked perfect, until he personally arrived to investigate.

The figures printed on these forged papers showed a much lower amount than what he had himself sanctioned to the textile unit. It wasn't a mistake. It was a setup, cleverly executed. A web of quiet embezzlement, designed to stay hidden.

It meant a large portion of the funds had been quietly drained. Only a small amount was left to keep things appearing functional, while the rest had vanished. Production had dropped, not because of insufficient funds, but because the money had been diverted elsewhere.

Vishwanath's expression darkened.

He flipped open the access register, jaw clenched. He needed to see who had last handled these documents.

But then his eyes froze on something that made the air leave his lungs.

Kashi's name.

As per the factory records, she was the only person to handle the documents that were now in question. Her signatures were clearly marked in the register, confirming both when she received the documents and when she submitted them.

Vishwanath stared at the page in disbelief. A heavy knot formed in his chest. He didn't want to believe it. Everything in him rebelled against the idea. He knew her, her honesty, her simplicity, her dedication. This didn't fit. It couldn't.

"Ye kaise ho sakta hai?" (How is it possible ?) he muttered to himself. "Kashi, itni imaandaar aur innocent ladki hai, yeh sab kaise kar sakti hai?"
(Kashi is such an honest and innocent girl, how can she do this?)

As he pondered, his mind wandered to the time he had spent with Kashi. Her sincerity, her hard work, and her obvious care for her ailing mother none of it matched the profile of a fraudster. He recalled their conversations, her struggles, and her unwavering resolve to provide for her family. He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts.

"Yeh sab galat hai. Kashi aisi nahi kar sakti,(Something is definitely wrong, Kashi can't do all this)" he whispered, a resolve forming in his mind.

Still, the paper in front of him told a different story.

He leaned back in his chair, the weight of uncertainty pressing down on him. He needed to find the missing originals. He needed answers.
